Reviews of Feel Flawless Luxury Hair Salon
"I trusted her enough to come back 3 years later to get my hair up to speed after moving away, but that counts for nothing as she clearly said. I was giving her a try after multiple bad incidents with other stylists since moving away and though she claims she gets it, she doesn't. I can take accountability that I should've added a trim to the appt originally (although losing my deposit in the process) but she herself was also late anyway because she forgot to bring towels and wanted to blame me for being on top of her next client when we're both wrong. I simply voiced that I wasn't expecting 3 months of hair to be cut and was discouraged after having a trim from her less than 3 months ago, braids for less than 2 months and washing every week religiously in addition to using her leave in. Instead of empathising and understanding my frustration given not knowing braids for that long is unhelpful, it became a match of "I know more than you." Though I stated multiple times that I would gladly book more appts and buy her shampoo set to see what comes of it as she recommended (moreso pressed me to do), I was talked over consistently and disregarded in terms of my scalp's health conditions (seborrehic dermatitis) on top of everything else. I explained I use Head and Shoulders Medical grade to help clear it up but was unable to express how I would need to be sure that her products would help as well since she knows more than me. I even scratched my scalp to show her the issue after her shampoo and I'm looking at flakes as I type, though she didn't even glance at it. Assumptions were also made of my going to healthcare professionals as if I have the money to in the first place when I have multiple invisible illnesses as well as the belief that I wouldn't voice my opinion to them if they were wrong/out of line when there have been countless times I've had to correct physicians for their mis-step about my health and have proof of it. There was also comparisons of going to stylists being similar to going to doctors/dentists when most don't go to those people more than a couple times a year. Despite me trying to explain all this, she just talked over me. She expressed because it's her salon, I can't speak to anything. I was also pressured to "contact" her to figure out what to do with my hair in the meantime between appointments but she claims she didn't get my 2 calls and 1 text and I even sent a question over Vagaro a month ago that was never answered so how exactly do I contact you? Her next client came and though I had been telling her to kill the convo b/c we were getting nowhere, she'd bring it up and when I tried to speak, tell me to stop because someone else is there. Overall, I can say she does hair well for but you better leave any thoughts, feelings, emotions or humanity at the door about yours."
