Reviews
"Very serene, good amount of parking available."
"Good place to launch kayaks or take the dogs for a walk. We also do kayak fishing and on shore fishing here. Bike riding is also nice along the beach road."
"This is where I go to relax after riding my motorcycle before heading home! I see BALD EAGLES, OSPREYS, ducks, gulls, mergansers, deer, squirrels, you name it there.(Quite a place)."
"Offers fishing from shore, boat, or with caution an inflatable kayak. Bass, trout, panfish, catfish, perch, Not sure about big game fish like pike. Offers many miles of trails or off trail hiking. Many areas with cooking grills and resting with picnic tables. Overnight camping area provided but not recommended during peak season unless you enjoy crowds. But, there are GROUP camp sites that are perfect for family alone time in the woods away from lake and other people. Cost 15 years ago was $25 in kinda remember. No more children around so no reason to be there anymore. Overall a great place to get away and enjoy whay your preference is."
"Raccoon Creek State Park has many hiking trails, cheap camping, even cheaper boat/sup/hydroboat rentals, and a beach for swimming! The beach is larger than most, shallow and safe for kids, floaties are welcome, and has a volleyball net by the grills. Pap John's will even deliver pizza. We make great memories every time we go."
