"Classic and Fresh, historic centerpiece of the 16 Blocks. Great acoustics, fresh and retro movies, dinner and a downtown show, a drink and dessert talking about it is the true timeless good things of life."
"I’ve been here twice for movies and both times have had such an amazing experience! The lines are a bit long to get in, but once you’re in it’s a pretty straight shot to the theater. We spent $5 even in cash on a ticket each and then about $10 for 2 drinks and a large popcorn bucket. The movie was shown quickly with minimal commercials. One thing I will say is that the demographic for late night movies (I’ve only been to those) are usually a bunch of college kids. There will be some talking/jokes made during movies but it’s all in good fun. Overall would come again and great price for a night out!"
"The Lyric is a wonderful theater that not only shows movies but serves as a community venue for national and regional musicians, storytellers, and lecturers. It's been beautifully restored and sells popcorn and other refreshments. Tthere's not a bad (or far away) seat in the house and the acoustics will please you. Just saw Molly Tuttle and AJ Lee and Blue Summit. Have previously seen Richard Thompson, Judy Collins, Shawn Colvin, and Margo Price."
"Charming local theater brimming with history. We saw Ma Rainy's Black Bottom and thoroughly enjoyed the auditory+visual experience. Very well-distanced, masks were kept on the whole time. There were only two other couples in the whole theatre so definitely make reservations/give it some support!"
"Great theater, small town theater with great vibes, cheap tickets, good popcorn! Watched ad Astra and north face mountain festival here, looking forward to more cool showings here! Friendly staff as well"
