"Great restored 1941 movie theater! $5.00 admission and good fresh popcorn."
"It is the perfect place to gather a group for almost any event. We were there for a funeral service and there was plenty of space for the meal. It is a good thing to keep the old movie theaters alive."
"This place was a hidden treasure!! I came into town for work and was looking for something to do when I saw that they were showing a free screening of the movie "The Tingler" staring Vincent Price. The place looked very small at first front the concessions stand in the front and only one theater room, but to my surprise this place was massive and beautiful. I was in awe of how beautiful this old historic theater was. The screening was put on by Bucknell University film school or a film class cause a professor came up and gave us a background of the film. The film was black and white and a bit on the cheesy side, but I had one of the best movie experiences that night. It was interactive, and one of the actors in the class screamed at the same time as a part of the film, which made it more interesting. If I ever come back this way, I will make sure to stop by. If you get a chance, stop by this magic place and support the arts. Thank you too, the staff and film class, for an amazing moment."
"I did NOT believe how big this theater was! It is old school and just really nice. Brings you back to the 50's, IMO. It belongs to the Bucknell University (I believe) and they show a lot of documentaries and class projects there as well that the public is invited to see as well. But it was a real nice place to go and see a movie with your loved ones or a group of friends."
"This place is way more than a theatre. It’s a staple of Main Street and the community. There are a wide variety of events for families and students. Many community partners including the university provide events that are free and open to the public. If you are downtown it’s worth stopping by to see what’s on the calendar. Michael is who you want to talk to. He knows everything that is going on at the theatre and is always warm and inviting."
