Dr. Beck's academic journey began with earning both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Biochemistry. Following his academic achievements, he devoted five years to teaching biology, chemistry, and physics to underprivileged high school students in the Bronx, NY. This experience underscores his commitment to education and community service.

He pursued his medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine, where he earned six academic scholarships, including the prestigious Trustees Scholarship awarded to the highest-ranking members of his class. Dr. Beck excelled in his medical studies, scoring with honors in most courses and achieving the 99th percentile on the United States Medical Licensing Exam.

Dr. Beck completed his intern year in Internal Medicine at the North Shore – Long Island Jewish Hospital, followed by an ophthalmology residency at Nassau County Medical Center in New York. His specialized training includes ocular surface reconstruction, cataract and refractive surgery (including bladeless LASIK), corneal transplant, anterior segment surgery, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. Additionally, he has extensive training in Dry Eye Disease and has published scientific papers presented at prominent conferences such as the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.

Dr. Beck offers a comprehensive range of treatments, including Dry Eye management, cataract and refractive surgery, corneal surgery, glaucoma treatment, eyelid surgery, diabetic eye exams, and ocular surface reconstruction.
