"It was great had some rare cars and everyone was down home friendly you don't know what your missing if you don't go loved it"
"A little piece of American History as there are so few Drive In Theaters left in the country! Loved our experience this past Saturday night when they showed Inside Out 2 and Jurassic Park! Prices are very reasonable with $9 a person for two movies (if you can last that long, Lol!) and the option to rent a radio for $4 (so as not to drain your car battery). Concession food also really reasonably priced with lots of options. Now for the details: Gates open at 6 pm, we arrived at about 7:15 pm and the place was already at about 80% full. I'm sure some movie showings are not as popular so this is likely not always the case. Many people brought in their own food, coolers, chairs, etc., but many also bought food at the concession stand. The concession stand food was very reasonably priced and tons of options. They even sell little blankets for $20 each if you get cold. There are 2 bathrooms (unisex) on site as well as two porta potties outside. After 8 pm the line was very long outside to the concession stands and remained that way for a while. They also said radios sell out pretty quick, so get yours early! You'll have to give your driver's license up to get one and they are also super old, lol, but work great! The movie started around 8:30 pm (summer time) (Remember that "Dusk" will be different depending on the time of year, so do your research before going, because they won't give an exact time on the website and no one answers the phone, it's just a recording). The ending of the first movie was after 10:15 pm. We wanted to stay and watch the 2nd movie, but got tired and decided to call it a night. Overall, this all was very reminiscent of the past with the Star Spangled Banner being played where everyone stood in the beginning with the flag waving on the screen. It was all very Americana! I was transported back in time. Loved it! Just remember it's a looooooong commitment if you want to see both movies, and get a good spot. If you only want to see the 2nd show, you'll have to try and time it just right and get a spot when others are leaving right after the first showing. That's tricky when you don't know exactly when the first movie will start and you'll need to research how long it is, as well. Lots of variables to overcome if you only go for the 2nd movie. **Also, any vehicle not a car has to park 3rd or 4th row back and you can put a blanket out in the lawn area and sit right up in the front under the screen too."
"I was just there tonight and this was the worst experience ever. If I could rate this 0 stars I would. We got there tonight at 6pm around 6:30 I realized that the movie wasn’t going to start until 8pm. This was partially my fault because I didn’t check sunset, but from past experience it usually happened at 7 & is when they would start the movie. Well I went up to speak to someone with plenty of time. The movie didn’t start until 8:30 so I spoke to someone two hours before the movie even started and asked for a refund to leave. My kids were already getting antsy and would not have made it another two hrs. I was told there was nothing they could do about it and I was not able to get a refund. So I stuck it out, got out of the car and let my kids run around to kill time. A little before the movie started we made our way back to our car and got settled in for the movie. The movie didn’t start for another 30 minutes or so. During this time they had already started to play commercials etc and my kids and I were finally settled down and comfortable. Well right as the movie starts this guy next to us decides to bang on my car and tells me to turn off my lights. My lights aren’t automatic so the lights were already off, but the bottom orange lights were on, I couldn’t figure out how to turn them off and while I was trying to figure it out this guy gets up and decides to complain about me. Well then the manager comes out to tell me the same thing that I need to turn off my lights. While we are trying to figure out how to turn them off the same guy complains yet again that my engine is loud! This guy decides to wait until the movie has started to make all these complaints. After everything I went through to get my kids settled and comfortable, we couldn’t even enjoy 5 minutes of the movie and now I was being told to turn off my car when I had my car on to listen to the movie on my radio and stay cool with A/C on. Now I’m being completely inconvenienced because we can no longer hear the movie, it’s hot outside with a 12month, 2year old and 5 year old. I then again ask if I can just leave and get a refund since we can no longer enjoy the movie and once again I am told no! Well we left either way, because there was no way we would’ve enjoyed the movie and I will definitely not be going back. Sparta drive in, you have ruined drive ins for me! Sad to say because the several other times I went with my kids I thought I found a loophole to finally being able to enjoy movies with littles, I guess not."
"This place is awesome. It has a great price to get in and not only do you get one movie, you get two movies. I used to go to the drive in with my parents. I am a lot older now, but going here is comforting. When my children was young I took them here a lot. I am now an empty nester, but my husband, and I enjoy it very much. The staff is friendly, the food is great, and the atmosphere is indescribable. They have pledge allegiance every night they are open. The feeling you get when you get out of the car, stand up, and put your hand to heart is amazing. I am just so thankful they are close enough to my home that I get to go a lot each summer. Thank you guys for making my family, and I feel like family. Such a great group of staff."
"Never been here for a movie but I was here for Faith Jam 2023 and it was AWESOME!!!!!"
