Reviews of The Recovery Village Cherry Hill at Cooper Drug and Alcohol Rehab
"I wasted my complete time with this company. Good people on the phone with good intentions, but fails to update staff on numerous issues including communication. Went through five calls going left and right, just to be denied (2x) because the policy states that marijuana ALONE isn’t a strong enough case for rehab services. Please understand I DID NOT go through the program, but this alone should get their attention. I have to go through my addiction cold turkey, a method that is worse, but it seems I have to be strung out before I receive any help."
"Sent a family member here to get help because they took our insurance. Negatives would be that they are a little understaffed and the food is not very good. (Though the chef was a lovely man!) But why my family member came here was not for the food, it was to recover from his addiction. He had a helpful counselor and there were lots of meetings and groups almost all day which really assisted in him getting plugged into the right mentality. There was a gentleman Antwon who facilitated most of the groups he sat in and it truly made things click for him. Antwon truly understands the disease of addiction and absolutely had an impact on this working for my family member. My family member came out of there humble and ready and willing to do what he needed to do to recover this time. He is currently in AA and going through the steps with a sponsor and I can already see the change in him. Some people aren’t ready to recover and if that is the case, no rehab will get them there long term. However, if someone you love is struggling and is ready to start living better, this place is a perfect place to start their beginning."
"DO NOT GO HERE. I came over to PHP boarding after 30 days at Pinelands in Medford which was a 10/10 experience. These people only want your money and only care about themselves. Worst rehab experience and I’ve been to enough to know. Should be ashamed to represent Cooper."
"RVCH helped me through troubled times. I made the most of my stay and I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. Everyone of the staff members were kind, caring and attentive. The food was also great!"
"Please do not send your loved one here! Have had nothing but a bad experience as a family member on the outside. The saddest part is the most helpful person was the financial department! She was able to actually answer some of the questions I had about my loved one being in there. Everyone else has sent me else for asking simple questions. Please please do your research and take your loved one somewhere that families can also get answers and help. Intake alone took almost 2 hours. Only because I called the hotline and a manager called the facility to come get us, I should’ve walked away then. If I didn’t already pay out of pocket for the care I would go elsewhere. Nurses and staff in the building do not even know the office number and will refer you to call the mainline on google."
