"Took my 2020 16ft bass buggy with a 10 year warranty to have live well fixed which was shorting out an blowing fuses,,,they said it was being over loaded with my fish finder lol,any way fish finder an trolling motor I have connected to a separate batterie not connected to the boat in any way anyone who knows how to do boat work of any kind can see that ,,all I got was a bill not covered by warranty an no short fixed because someone don't know what they are doing ,,go somewhere else good luck"

"I have always stored my boat in climate controlled storage over the winter. After this past season I decided to have it shrink wrapped and stored at the marina. I've always had great service from Northstar Marina but was really let down with me recent experience. I went to pick the boat up two weeks ago and after calling ahead so the boat was pulled from storage, I arrived only to find it was buried behind a few boats and still parked in storage lot. Mud was tracked all through the boat. On the floor, the seats, of all places on the top of the head door/storage door. Not sure why someone would step there in the first place but I would also think that someone servicing the boat would leave it how they found it which was completely cleaned. I've always been of the nature that you give something back in better condition than when you borrow it. Same rules should apply here. Wipe up your muddy foot prints when your are done. When I went into the office to complain I didn't have an expectation that anything was going to be done about it but was looking for, at minimum, an apology. I asked to have Doug call me about my experience. Still waiting for that call... Really let down."

"Yesterday, we rented boat number 5. It wouldn’t start a few times. We figured it out the first couple. But the last one we were stuck for over 2 hours. We called them and told them, and they told us there had no other boats to come get us. That we needed to flag other boats down. Which no one stopped for us. Then as we got towed we need to stop at our camp ground to get a vehicle because we had no way back from the marina. So our dad had to swim because they couldn’t get us close enough. Then as we got back to the marina, I over heard the one lady that puts fuel and docks the boats say, that if we bumped any wires or touched a piece of tape, that it was our fault. There’s no reason why those boats shouldn’t be fixed properly. They don’t care about safety at all. When we went to talk to the owner he had no idea of the situation, which is ridiculous. They wouldn’t give us our full refund or even half which, is uncalled for. The only accommodation was $40. And we missed more than 5 hours of boat time because of the issues. My family and I will never, I mean NEVER be renting a boat from this company again. This is unbelievable!!!!!"

"Boat had issues from the beginning of our rental, wouldn't stay running and had a steady stream of fuel leaking from the motor. Dock worker kept denying there was any problem and insinuated that both us and the prior customers just didn't know what we were doing. Initially offered a very small refund however the owner did end up giving us half off which seemed more appropriate."
