"I lived here for over a year and with the original leasing agent I had, she was amazing and accommodating for me, she, and others eventually left. Average rent is $2400 for a one bed. When I moved out, there was no organization what so ever with the staff, different answers to my questions, nothing in writing, and no move-out check list to help me sufficiently prepare. Luckily, I already knew from experience to cancel my E-Renters insurance and power, but the complex did not prepare or tell me any of this, which is INSANE considering the amount we pay! The garage was broken for over two months, the mailroom was a disaster with a free-for-all to grab any residents mail or amazon packages, and the amount of spiders in my apartments was insane. Would never recommend to anyone to live there."
"Maintenance guys are great. Fix everything fast, really friendly too. The pool area is my favorite: green, spacious, water fountain is sweet."
"Edge 1909 is completely neglected in terms of upkeep, security, management oversight, and general building maintenance. The attention to this building is what one would expect from a low-income, budget apartment building; not one selling themselves as "luxury" where people are paying a premium. As rents continue to increase, the service and condition of this building continues to decrease. This is a direct indication of how NRP Group manages their properties as other apartment complexes do not operate in such a shameful and embarrassing manner. There doesn't seem to be any on-site property management and decisions are only able to be made at a corporate level. NRP Group is focused on revenue and profit over customer satisfaction or any value-added amenities the tenants are paying for. My comments can be justified by the following: - The garage doors break multiple times per year and are left open for any person or any vehicle to enter freely for WEEKS and MONTHS and at time until they are repaired, only to "break" again shortly thereafter. - Exterior doors and loading areas are oftentimes left open and unsecured. Gates around the perimeter are broken and left unsecured for what appears to be indefinitely, allowing anyone to enter the property, building, and common areas. - Mail room is a complete mess with packages left all over the floor, and unsecured. - The building was 100% neglected during COVID and even still, the hallways are only cleaned a couple times per month. The stairwells, never. Carpets are filthy and stained, with spots and drips trailing down the halls. - The trash rooms fill with garbage and are left with stains, spills, and sticky messes on the floor. - Trash cans and outdoor dog waste receptacles are left to regularly overflow with garbage. - The ice maker and freezer amenities in the club room (available to rent for a fee) have been "out of order" for years. - The pool has become the community pool of the Strip District, with no one to monitor who is there (entering through the broken gates) or to verify residency. Other buildings have a lifeguard on duty who is responsible for signing people into the pool while enforcing the rules. The building remains for sale so I don't expect any efforts to be made to improve. In fact, residents have been told NRP Group is spending "no money" on the building. There are better, and now newer places to live in the Strip District, in particular The District building next door, which is now owned by another property group."
"I truly recommend this building for living. It has everything and in a good state: swimming pool, conference room, coffee machine, rooftop, relaxing areas, etc. Special mention to the staff: they always help you and maintain the building clean and organized. The best worker is Alejandro! He help us a lot when we moved here and still does, he is such a good professional and also a good person, 5 stars for him!!"
"We love Edge 1909 and are proud to call it home. As a current resident who has been going through the process of finding a securing a new unit to transition into later this summer, I cannot speak highly enough of Alejandro in the leasing office. Alejandro is extremely helpful, responsive, and accommodating! His professionalism and dedication to his clients has truly made this process a breeze for us! I highly recommend Edge 1909, not only for the amazing facilities, but also for the outstanding staff like Alejandro."
