"I've had a year and a half of pain that has sent me to the E.R. 4 times. I'm under chiropractic care for my pain and I have chest pain that radiates into my arms and up into my head with tingling daily, and yet my MRI was denied because I can still walk? Wow! Just Wow!"
"If I could give them zero stars I would.. denied services my health provider has deemed necessary to diagnose and decide course of treatment.. multiple times. Apparently they rather pay for all the medical equipment I will be needing since they deny services. Phone and message center either don't a sewer back or cuts you off."
"I have RA. Confirmed for 9 years. RA doctor put me on Actemra. I do extremely well on this med. I take weekly injections at the Columbus Arthritis Center. Needed meds renewed by Molina. Doctor did EVERYTHING she was suppose to do on her end. Now Molina has denied my renewal! They seem to think I don't need this medication anymore. Sorry bunch of people! There is no generic for this medication. I have one injection left. What am I to do? I would lay odds if it was them, they would not hesitate to approve medication!! I have never had such a runaround it my life. Incompetent does not begin to explain their actions! And I even have Medicare coverage too! I am 66 years old! So, does that give them the right to railroad the elderly? I will do what I need to do even if I have to change insurance. DO NOT EVER HAVE MOLINA INSURANCE!!"
"Just don't. I have constant issues with providers taking and then not taking this insurance. I had to file a grievance recently because of this with a dentist. Also, this past Saturday I had to pay out of pocket for my eye exam because surprise they no longer take my insurance! If you live outside of a major city you will have greater issues finding any kind of provider, especially specialist. Their providers list on the website is not up to date by any means. Today alone every single provider I called from Molina's website either didn't take our insurance, wasn't accepting new patients after the website stated they were, the address or phone number wasn't correct. I called a Dublin office today and was told the Dublin offices don't take Molina but I could surely wait until October to go to Ghannah, well over an hour from my home. I called what was supposed to be a dermatologist office and the number belonged to a primary care office. This happened with two different dermatologist from their website. There is no calling for assistance because the call center people use the same provider search. Come on Molina! Get it together! Your patients are suffering due to your incompetence!"
"I do not recommend Molina marketplace insurance. They are very expensive, difficult to deal with, and many drs and health care facilities do not accept it. They have also denied bills that they should pay. I’m looking forward to open enrollment so I can switch to another insurance."
