Reviews of Brain Balance of Wexford
"I can't say enough about Brain Balance of Wexford; from our son's program results to working with the Brain Balance team, we've had a fantastic experience. After an exhaustive search for methods, techniques, and resources to help and support my son, I came across the Brain Balance program through a random Google search. When I initially called, I spoke with Megan, the Executive Director, about my son and what we were struggling with. While I was still skeptical, I was intrigued; Megan seemed to understand what he was struggling with and even shared some more information that really connected with us, all without having met him. I had to find out more, so I scheduled his initial evaluation to see if my son would be a good fit for their program. During the initial evaluation, while our son was completing his evaluation, we had another opportunity to sit down with Megan and discuss everything further. From the get-go, it was apparent that this wasn't just another job for Megan. She is SO passionate about the science of the program and the kids in the program, but she never once sugar-coated anything. We needed that. While she was excited and optimistic, she was direct with us. It never felt like a sales pitch. We felt comfortable discussing our concerns, the good, the bad, and the ugly, and she talked them through with us. It was that candid, honest, but supportive conversation that made all the difference. We received his results; they could actually help us, and while we said we needed to take a minute to think about it, we left the meeting knowing we couldn't walk away without giving it a shot. We trusted the process and were committed to it. We saw the little signs and changes all along the way that kept showing us that we were achieving something, and all the pieces continued to come together. When you're in a situation like ours, the little changes are the most important ones. Brain fatigue hit us hard every time, but we knew that meant there was a large amount of growth on the other side. The whole Brain Balance team supported us; they understood our son on a fundamental level and understood us as parents! Finally, we didn't feel like we were fighting this battle alone. 5 months later, we are approaching graduation, and it was all worth it, and I would do it all again in a heartbeat. The progress our son has made has been significant. Our son has everyday 5-year-old challenges but can now work through transitions, stressful situations, and conflicts, all while regulating his body and emotions at a level he never would have been able to before. Even when he does get pushed to his limits and his emotions increase, whether anger, sadness, or fear, he is able to come out of it much more quickly and work through it productively. It’s also not just us that recognize these changes in him either; his teachers and school director have also shared how impressed they are with the changes they’re seeing from him. I can't thank the Brain Balance team, especially Megan, Jared, Amanda, Michael, and Kiersten, enough for how much they've been able to help our son and also support us each step along the way. Their passion for helping their students succeed in their program while providing them with consistent patience and care all along the way is remarkable. While the work isn't done yet, and we have to ensure we continue to put in the effort to secure it, I am confident we will do so through their continued support. I highly recommend at least giving them a call to see how they can help you and your child. It was one of the best decisions we could have made for our son!"
"Phenomenal does not give Brain Balance justice. My son is a young adult with autism, severe speech apraxia and several mental health diagnoses. Before Brain Balance he was sluggish, inattentive and very sensitive to noise and being around people. At the time of evaluation, I thought he would never do this. Wow was I wrong! He works on his program six days a week and likes it! Since starting Brain Balance, we see him communicating more, tolerating sensory issues and improvement in his fine and gross motor skills. Brain Balance addresses all his issues in one complete program. He hasn’t finished the program yet and I can’t wait to see how far he GROWS!"
"Since enrolling in Brain Balance, our family has noticed gains with our two teenage sons. Both boys have been displaying gains not only in academics but also in responsibility, communication, physicality and life skills. The staff has spent countless hours addressing concerns, outlining a game plan and delivering all benefits the program has to offer. We especially appreciate the monthly progress reports. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone that is struggling."
"As a parent, there's nothing more disheartening than feeling like your child isn’t on the right track, developmentally, but not being able to pinpoint exactly what it is. That was my reality from the time my son was just a year old. Despite numerous visits to various specialists and countless therapy sessions, no one could give me a clear answer. My gut told me he was just a bit behind, but traditional methods failed to bridge the gap to age-appropriate milestones. We tried everything – speech therapy, physical therapy, you name it. But as my son continued to struggle to keep up with his peers, doubts crept in. Doctors suggested diagnoses like autism and ADHD, even recommending medication without a formal confirmation. It was a frustrating and exhausting cycle of uncertainty. That's when I stumbled upon Brain Balance. From the moment we walked through their doors, I felt a glimmer of hope. Their comprehensive evaluation finally connected the dots – emotionally, sensorily, and cognitively. They revealed what others couldn't – that my son's brain functioned like that of a much younger child, explaining his difficulties with following directions and basic tasks. What drew me to Brain Balance the most was their medication-free approach. Instead of masking symptoms, they addressed the root cause through intensive, personalized therapy. It wasn't an easy journey, but the dedication and passion of their team made all the difference. Fast forward to today, and the transformation in my son is nothing short of remarkable. Thanks to Brain Balance, he's caught up to his biological age and then some. His newfound confidence and abilities have not only changed his life but ours as a family. I can't stress enough how grateful I am for Brain Balance. If you're like me, tired of doubting your intuition and searching for answers, I urge you to give them a call. Your child's potential is boundless, and Brain Balance can help unlock it. Trust me, it's worth every step of the journey."

Their belief in his potential was truly inspiring and gave us the strength to keep pushing forward. What sets this team apart is their genuine care for our entire family. They understood that our son's progress was not just about him, but about our entire household. They provided us with the tools, resources, and emotional support we needed to navigate through the ups and downs of the process. One of the most remarkable aspects of our experience was the office's commitment to providing options and alternatives. They understood that every child is unique and tailored their approach to meet our son's specific needs. They were always open to trying different strategies and techniques, ensuring that we had every opportunity for success. Through thick and thin, the team at Brain Balance Wexford stood by our side. They celebrated every milestone, no matter how small, and encouraged us to keep pushing forward. Their unwavering support gave us the confidence to believe in our son's abilities and to never give up. If you are looking for a place that believes in your child, supports your family, and provides exceptional care, I wholeheartedly recommend Brain Balance Wexford.
