"Worst experience, I emailed the embassy with urgent question and got my reply like a week and half later. The reply was very generic without any politeness etiquette, and did not even answer my question. One liner basically. Calling them never works as they don't pick up their phone."
"Unfortunate experience of Vienna on tram. Unjustly fined 105 euros. When I took a tram ride to the Belvedere, only two stops, I tried to insert euro coins. Not accepted. Then used credit card but I wasn't aware that the card was malfunctioning. Followed off tram by a woman who seized my drivers license and credit cards and gave them to a man waiting on the street. I am an honest woman and would not cheat the Viennese govt for two euros. Wrote the Mehrgebuhen twice. They admitted that machines only took new coins. All in German. Will not reconsider."
"Processing of my visa application took quite longer than the official expected time. So I lost $1800 on nonrefundable tickets and missed the award ceremony I was invited to visit in Austria."
"I never rate one star in my whole life i am always nice to others. But this place they don't know what they are doing. I ask for Visa the took my passport and they charge me the Visa fee and after all that they ask for flight ticket and insurance . I bought the ticket and everything cost me almost $1500 . Before the flight date like one week they told me sorry we couldn't give you Visa after I gave them all the documents and the papers they ask for . And they respond to me with Dutch language. So I lost the money . And when I gave them my passport they look at me and laughing with different language i am so upset. This place not perfect and they don't know what they are doing. ."
