"Never-ever-ever-ever-see this so-called doctor. I brought my son to Santrock to consult with him about removing a fungus toenail from my 16 year old son’s big toe. Santrock cut my son’s big toe completely off. He wrapped it up; didn’t tell us what he had done and had his assistant work with us for the rest of the time. We never seen him again. He never met with us again. Only his assistant met with us. SANTROCK is the WORST! The absolute WORST. He acted like he was helpful in the beginning. Completely fooled us. My son had to have surgery to fix it by another foot specialist. That doctor was livid and seen no reason to cut off this young man’s, age 16 BIG toe. Yes, my athletic son’s big toe. I truly believe that it was racially motivated."

"My husband went to see him concerning plantar fasciitis and tendinitis in both of his feet. Dr Santrock behaved as though it was a bother to see him. He didn’t take any time with us and we felt rushed out of there. Gave us some instructions and a prescription for him to get a brace. Later had a follow-up appointment and he acted like he had better things to do. Too busy entertaining the students he was training. He was short & rude. We drove all the way from Charleston, for this type of treatment! I would not even give him a single star rating!"

"I can assure Larry Harrell he had a different doctor, and unfortunately gave a really awful doctor a higher review than he should have. The other reviews stated clearly the kind of person this doctor is, except for the 5-star review by the person who was happy with him because he told them he couldn't do the surgery. I didn't see any reviews by anybody who actually had any successful work done by him. He's a pretty hateful fellow, based on my experience with him a couple of years ago. Looks like my original review was removed."

"I would not recommend this doctor. I went with my mom to see Dr. Santrock because she was having trouble with her ankle for over 6 months. Dr. Santrock was rude and acted like my mom didn’t know what she was talking about. She is still in pain and he acted like she shouldn’t be. My mom’s mask fell down over her nose and he YELLED at her to pull her mask over her nose! He needs to find another profession!"

"My experience with Dr. Santrock was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had with a physician. His complete lack of empathy as a physician was truly shocking to me. He was rude, passive aggressive, and combative because he seemed to think I was lying about my toe injury. He grilled me with sarcastic questions with a tone of complete disbelief, to the point where I was extremely uncomfortable. I have been chronically dislocating my pinkie toe for years and have seen MANY doctors about the issue. All of these doctors listened seriously and treated me with respect and empathy. For the first time ever, I was treated disrespectfully and not taken seriously. For the first time in my life, I cut a doctors appointment short, and left in tears of frustration. The attending PA and resident were very clearly uncomfortable with the way he was treating me. His PA was wonderful and kind. Along with all of this, he didn’t have ANY solutions for my problem because he clearly thought there wasn’t one. He clearly thought he was right that the problem simply did not exist, and that I was making things up, and treated me with total disrespect and lack of empathy."
