"The best in rental. Edit: To the previous renter with the gas pole pruner, THD does offer many wrenches for any tools that may require adjustment in the field, including the pole pruner. The safety bucket (you declined to take with you) includes a helmet, ear/eye protection, chaps and ADJUSTMENT WRENCH. The tools are quality and safety inspected before EVERY rental and these bolts can easily be adjusted by anyone with a crescent/socket wrench, or even a simple pair of pliers. Chainsaw chains frequently become loose after use so this should not have come as a shock to you. A lack of knowledge and experience on your part apparently equates to a 1 star review for a retailer renting tools as a service for those in need. If you're unsure of what you may need when renting an unfamiliar tool, ask and we'll gladly explain! Maybe just take the safety bucket next time..."

"I rented this Echo gas pruner, and it ruined my whole day and wasted my time and money!!! 1) Home Depot staff didn't check the chain to make sure it wasn't loose. I rented it and drove 40 mins away to cut some branches, and upon arrival to my workplace, I saw that the chain was extremely loose, and it comes off when I try to cut any branches. 2) They didn't give me any tools to untighten the bolts and fix the loose chain. The bolts were extremely tight, and regular wrenches or pliers didn't work! I had to drive to another Home Depot 20 mins away from my workplace, where the staffs took a look at it and fixed it for me and they were surprised that the Elmwood Home Depot didn't give me the tool to untighten the bolts with the pruner. When I returned to Elmwood Home Depot, they told me that each Home Depot location have different policies and their branch doesn't give out any tool with the gas pruner! I wish they had told me this before renting this junk pruner! Even after fixing tightening the loose chain, it came off again after cutting a few branches. My day was completely ruined and didn't get much work done. $85 and a day went to waste. I will not be renting anything from this location again!"

"Staff was great, tools are in very good condition, only issue was when I inquired about renting a saw I was told it was $53.00 for 4 hrs. What I found out later was that the rental for the saw blade was extra, approimately $60 extra. Why wasn't the blade included in the original rental price. Why wasn't it posted that the blade is not supplied and cost extra."
