"A cute small park with a great Doughboy memorial to the thousands who fought, were maimed, died or came back psychologically scarred from the Great War. Too bad this little park is in a violent town that should have died long ago."
"The field is run down and often overgrown with grass and weeds in the spring and summer. Its littered with garbage and in disrepair with broken fences, damaged gates and equipment. It's a known hangout for delinquents after dark because of the substandard lighting. With a playground nearby and a vacant lot where the city pool used to be this area has the potential to be a nice place for kids to play and families to gather, but the city of Aliquippa refuses to invest in meaningful infrastructure, especially in the neighborhoods."
