"These people are the absolute worst company I've ever dealt with. Here I am, temporarily in need of very important medical supplies and they are not helpful. I have been trying to re-order for two weeks now. And when I call I'm either on hold for a half an hour and no one helps me, or I call at 10 o'clock in the morning and the pre-recorded message says they are closed and normal business hours are from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. Avoid this company at all cost if you can. I would rather pay for my supplies on Amazon and have my insurance company reimburse me. ***update*** I finally was able to get someone on the phone who could assist me. She was polite and helped process my order. For some reason she did say that information didn't transfer over items like Dr, prescription, Etc. even though it was merely a reorder. But this was resolved relatively quickly and the order was placed. she stated I should have what I needed within a week or so. I did confirm they are on EST and despite me calling during their business hours the message stated it was "after hours". She had no response or reason for this, but as long as they are aware, maybe someone will address it one day."
"This company is a double dipper! It deliberately continues to bill even when one’s insurance fully covers the charges. I have spoken with reps and explained the issue to no avail. They state that insurance takes too long to pay. Perhaps the actual issue is they prefer not to patiently wait for the insurance payment they know will be coming. Therefore, if you don’t pay right away, they harass you with letters stating you will be taken to collections. If you do pay, they don’t refund you after they receive the insurance payment. One’s account balance only appears as zero. The insurance payment does not show. However, it does present on one’s account in the insurance website. When you choose not to order items on their schedule, they call, text, and email every day reminding you to order. If you can avoid using Adapt Health, which goes by other names such as Total Home Health, HHCE, among others, please do so. Unfortunately, it’s the only med supply company that accepts my insurance."
"So frustrated with this company. Been purchasing colostomy supplies for my 89 year old mother for almost 3 years. Called last week and hung up after 35 minute conversation due to language barrier. Called yesterday, wait time was 6 hours and 20 minutes. They often send a bill on invoices that have already been paid. Time to finnd new supplier...I would like to now add an update. Laura from Adapt contacted me. She has been helpful not only with my recent order but contacted Mom's insurance to see if we can get different product covered by her insurance. Thank you Laura. Your time and effort are appreciated."
"Super shadey company. They were sending me bills without submitting claims to my insurance. Everytime my insurance called them they immediately sent me a new bill. That I didn't need to pay because of my insurance. Now they refuse to send my information to my new supply company. Avoid these people like the plague. Edit: I was on a 3 way call with Adapthealth and my insurance. Adapthealth called me twice while we were on hold trying to collect payment for the bill in question. For the claim they still haven't submitted to my insurance. They won't submit a claim to my insurance, but they want payment. And my insurance says not to pay them because they're acting super shadey. When the insurance company says, "dang, that's not right. Don't pay them. At all. Seriously don't do that." You know something is off. 2nd edit: I got another call from them requesting payment. I asked what my balance was. It was $0.00. They called me to collect on a zero dollar balance. I again asked for a supervisor. I've been asking for a supervisor since February and it was always they're on a call, they're away from their desk, or they're busy. It's May 22 and I'm still waiting on a return call from April 4th. The zero dollar rep started to tell me why he couldn't get me a supervisor and I interrupted him saying, "I always get these three excuses. Which would he like to use?" He finally transferred me to the escalations team who told me that anytime a supervisor is requested it should be immediately send to escalations. I've filed a formal complaint against them with my insurance. I suggest anyone having issues do the same."
