He then pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree at The Ohio State University, graduating in 1993. Further honing his expertise, Dr. Rusiecki completed specialized training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at West Virginia University (WVU) in 2000.

Dr. Rusiecki is married to Dr. Mahreen Hashmi, an Ob/Gyn at West Virginia University Hospital, and together they have three children: Evan, Mitch, and Emma.
