"Horrible Doctor who will not recommend any specialists. Egotistical doctor who will try to resort all issues to blood tests which will find nothing. Whether knee pain, or chest pain, he will resort to useless blood tests and will never suggest a specialist of any kind. Don't take your family here."

"The doctor is fine. We have no problems with the doctor and his medical advice. Certain members of his staff make the overall experience difficult. A staff member at the Chantilly office continues to be extremely rude and will have the audacity to HANG UP ON ILL PATIENTS before understanding why we are calling. They will ACTUALLY REFUSE to pick up the line if you call back. I had to CONTINUE CALLING FOR 10 MIN. before a different staff member finally answered. Specifically, there's an older Korean lady in her late 40s-mid 50s who works the front desk. She is horribly curt and demands to know what your question is before understanding why you're even calling. She doesn't want to be bothered to do her job nor does she have a modicum of customer service grace. She also gets irritated that I have to physically escort my senior parents into the different rooms during their visit and will state I have to leave the room even though my parents requested I be there. Dumb and rude is not a great combo to have if you're in any job position that requires patient/customer interaction. It is important to note that there are 2 other front desk employees who have displayed a consistent level of professionalism and kindness with all incoming patients and I have had no issues with them. They have an onsite lab in the office and the technician, who is sweet but unfortunately incompetent, has to make several attempts to draw blood everytime. If you're a senior citizen, this can be very painful & stressful. I think it is important for future patients to be aware of this situation. Thank you."

"My friend and my dentist had referred me to Dr. Shin when I was looking for my primary doctor. I finally made an appointment when I was hit with a gout attack recently. I made an online appointment on Sunday night for the next day. And the following morning, I was confirmed that I could come in later that morning. They realized that I was in severe pain that I think they let me in that day. I think the staff were processing the tasks (insurance cards, etc) pretty quickly and were professional. I had a blood test at the office, and the next day they called me with the result. And the doctor prescribed a medicine. Regarding Dr. Shin, he spent enough time with me about my issue. He was very kind. A couple of the things I liked - my blood pressure was high, but he told me that it's likely that way because I was in the hospital and being nervous. And he checked on my knees and an ankle that were not on gout attack. It was my first visit and I am satisfied."
