"Walked in and asked could we look at a menu. They had none. We asked the very questionable cook how do we order without a price menu. I'll add it up as we go. And it didn't smell clean."

"I returned back to this place because the first time I had it, the food was great. The chicken was not seasoned well but the fish and sides was great. This time I brought my friend along with me and it was horrible. The macNcheese was dry and hard. Like it’s been sitting for hours. But I believe it was because the cook put my sides in a microwave to warm up. So that means it wasn’t fresh. No salt and very peppery. ChicFilA macNcheese tasted better than what they gave me.The yams was okay, very mushy and too much nutmeg. They was going to put a small piece of fish on my plate until I asked them why am I paying $25 for 1 small piece of fish that looked like a cat fish nugget. They did add another piece once they seen what I was talking about. They ran out of filets and gave my friend small nuggets. it’s already enough that it’s not a lot of black own soul food places but this place doesn’t give consistency at all. It’s a hit and miss and they charge a lot but the price isn’t worth it. I won’t be back."

"It’s always nice to find a spot that serves you authentic soul food and this place does just that. It was my first time trying their food and it won’t be my last time. The food was so good. I wish I had a photo to upload but let’s just say the food didn’t make it home with me lol"

"Stopped by yesterday and grabbed an order of Whiting Fish with greens and Mac & Cheese. It was delicious, I wish I would have taken a pic but when I got home and opened the container I was too excited to dig in! The fish was super flakey and moist with just the right amount of breading. Can’t wait to go back to get more and try something else"
