"Let me start off by saying there are some wonderful caring staff that work here. Then there are some that are downright mean! My mother was treated horribly and she was alert and could speak up. I hate to see what happens to the poor people that can’t speak! The lack of response to call lights is neglect of every patient there. The excuse was always if the staff are handing out trays they can’t help because of cross contamination. If that is the case then every staff should not be handing out trays so some are available to answer call lights. And to add to that my mother was having a possible emergency situation through the middle of the night and the call light was not answered for over an hour! I’m pretty sure there were no trays being passed in the middle of the night!! Do not subject your loved ones to this facility."

"Was not happy with the treatment for my mother. No doctor evaluated her, even though she had been there for days. She waited hours to be taken to use the bathroom, medications didn't arrive when they were supposed to given. On more than one occasion, food didn't arrive on time and my diabetic mother had problems. She lost 10 lbs in less than one week of care there. We got her moved to a different facility and are hoping she can heal properly now. On the up side, almost all of the staff were friendly."

"I work as a housekeeper at a community living center and what I saw and heard today at Cedar Hill was disappointing , first of all, you don’t criticize your coworkers in front of visitors and I heard one of the employees that was serving my cousin lunch, criticize the housekeeping department. I also saw an employee walking one of the residents at your facility at the height of lunchtime, which causes congestion in the hallways because the nurses aids are busy serving lunch at that time, it’s very dangerous. Where I work, there is absolutely nothing allowed in the hallways, except for the food cart and the nurses aids that are serving the meals. And the patients don’t get walked in the middle of meal times. Other than that, I was very happy to see my cousin and spend some time with her."

"I am so excited about our new ownership. They are Resident oriented and have made a positive change in our facility.Our staff and Residents are kind. We have a lot of staff that love the residents very much.We are Family at Cedar Hills and I love that."
