"Seems like a pretty active facility. When I arrived there were many parents there with young children. I am guessing they had a program of some sort going on. One of the Librarians was very gracious and provided me a quiet study room of my own that allowed me to work uninterrupted. What a nice gesture."
"I wanted to photograph kannesburg and post and I found this beautiful library in the process of driving around Cannonsburg. It was definitely worth it. Didn't go inside but plenty of public parking right next to the library. And easy access for handicap."
"My girls loves the children books that reads to them. And the movie section for kids is huge. The staff could be a little nicer to kids getting a few movies at a time (not everyone can afford cable right now)"
"A hidden gem in this wonderful little quirky patriotic town. It's comfortable, clean, well-stocked and inviting. The staff is lovely - easy to find, friendly and happy to help. There always seems to be something interesting or fun going on here. From children's story time or a craft show/sale to a group of locals engaging in a lively debate about a new book, and you can join in everything. Of course if you would rather, you could also opt to just grab the new bestseller and one of the pretty much ever-present Sarris candy bars they have for sale at the counter and cozy up in a comfy chair for hours. Either way, you'll be glad you made time to visit!"
"Not good for students. I came here several times in an attempt to study, and it is very difficult. The librarians continuously interrupted me to try and make conversation, despite me requesting to be left alone. In addition, they talk loudly to each other across the library about books they read. Good library for programs and community help, but as someone trying to get work done, this is not the place."
