Moraine State Park Main Office

Moraine State Park is a stunning natural haven located in northwestern Pennsylvania, near the crossroads of I–79 and I–80. The park spans 16,725 acres and features the 3,225-acre Lake Arthur with 42 miles of shoreline. This beautiful landscape is the result of extensive restoration efforts following past coal mining and oil and gas drilling activities. Today, it serves as a prime example of environmental engineering achievement, attracting over one million visitors annually.

The park offers a wide array of year-round recreational activities including boating, picnicking, hiking, biking, horseback riding, cabin rentals, and swimming. Visitors can also participate in environmental education programs, guided walks, and evening events to gain a deeper appreciation for the park’s natural and cultural resources.

Office and Marina Services:

The Moraine State Park Main Office, located near the entrance to the South Shore, provides essential services such as park information, launch permits, and cabin reservations. The office is open year-round from Monday to Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., and on weekends during the summer. The Davis Hollow Marina office on the North Shore offers marina applications, launch permits, and general park information from April 15 to October 30.
