"This was fun. When we were leaving a drum line entertained everyone on the steps. The Museum was absolutely beautiful. I did want to purchase a few prints but the items were limited on this day. Looking forward to visiting again in the future."
"I spent nearly 5 hours in this museum! This is my first trip to explore the city without kids in nearly 15 years! I totally forgot what it was like to move at my own pace and take in all the art and beauty! My daughters’ dance studio gifts their graduating seniors with a small replica of Degas’ “Tiny Dancer, Aged Fourteen,” so it was amazing to see it in person! I recommend grabbing a map and purchasing the highlights audio tour. You can access it on your phone, just remember to bring earbuds/headphones! I also just listened to music and took my time enjoying everything. They have a cafe and a restaurant. The restaurant is always booked up and doesn’t really take walk-ups, so don’t bother! The cafe is pretty good! You can take pictures, just no flash photography."
"We went on a Wednesday and the museum was closed but the gardens behind the museum have some sculptures and are very nice to walk around. We did Rocky's steps, the sculpture is at the front of the museum before going up the stairs. It was so much fun fun recreating Rocky's steps. The view of the city from the museum is impressive. Recommended"
"If you're in Philly visiting you should make a run up the Rocky stairs! Because why not?! Lots of people doing it for fun. Plus you get a pretty good view back through Philly in the other direction. There's also a Rocky statue as well. Tons of people in line for that, so we skipped on that, but you can still get pics of the statue from the sidewalk"
