"I highly recommend Wahl and I’m very glad I had them do my HVAC system. I was incredibly impressed with everyone at Wahl throughout this entire experience. From calling to get an appointment to the actual installation, everyone was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. They obviously take pride in their work. My 19 year old AC went out on Sunday, right after the worst of the heat wave. A lot of companies couldn’t even send someone out for a straight estimate until Friday (today). Wahl sent Nick out on Monday. He was absolutely incredibly - extremely knowledgeable and passionate. He didn’t have good news (my AC needed a new compressor and converter minimum) but he showed me exactly what was wrong with the AC and the furnace, which had some issues that would need dealt with before winter. Nick wrote out detailed estimates to show me the kinds of options I had and took the time to sit down and go over everything in detail. He answered all of my questions and seemed genuinely happy to do so. It was honestly the best experience I’ve had with any contractor. I did get other quotes - most were cheaper. But Wahl offered the best warranty and generally, the negative experiences I read online tended to center around pricing rather than quality of work. Quality and longevity were my biggest concerns - I just closed on my house in May and have had a lot of issues, so I wanted an HVAC system that would hopefully last another 19 years. Nick was quick to respond to the questions and concerns I had while making such a big decision. I decided to go with Wahl and they sent Jake and Dan out on Thursday - way faster than I had expected. Jake and Dan were also absolutely fantastic. Very polite, professional, and kind (both to me and my cats). They spent two hot days replacing my old AC and furnace, as well as an old fuse box and a lot of piping. They really took their time to make sure everything looked nice - no detail was overlooked. Even the drainage tube to the utility sink was encased in PVC so it would stay in place (which had been a concern I’d mentioned to Nick). Jake made sure to show me all the aspects of the new system and thermostat, including how to change the furnace filter since it’s a different style than the old one. They tested everything and made sure it was working. Again, it was obvious they take care and pride in their work. Everything they did is incredibly clean and neat. I’m thrilled to have AC again and I’m incredibly happy with the entire experience with Wahl."
