"I absolutely love my new floor! It changes the whole appearance of my living room! The installers were terrific, they not only installed my flooring professionally they moved my furniture and cleaned up! I would definitely recommend Empire and my installers Moses and his son, Brian! They work fast and efficiently!"
"This is the work that the first installer did on my staircase. First day worked half a day said truck was for, second day clogged my toilet and said he ran out of 1/4 round and he had to order a custom piece for the one step. Follow week second install did the flooring in the kitchen. Here for three hours and was done, nothing but great work and satisfied. He said that the steps were installed incorrectly, spoke to the project manager and the project manager said an installer would be back in a week to re-do the steps. Third installer showed up and said too much glue was used on the steps and that it would take 15 hrs to do them. Project manager said the installer would be back in a week and would work Saturday and Sunday to finish the install. If this does not happen I will have my attorney get involved and if need be file suit against empire. I will file a complaint with the bbb and I will contact consumer reports with WTAE, KDKA, WPXI, and FOX. This whole experience has left a sour taste in my mouth and I should have went with molyneaux."
"Empire was recommended by a friend who used them for a couple projects. I normally try to use local companies but decided to give them a try. We were very happy that we did. The sales rep, Jeff, was knowledgeable, thorough and easy going. The install crew (only 2 guys) showed up at 8am (an hour ahead of schedule!) and were done by 230pm. They did a fantastic job (3 bedrooms, hallway, & stairs), were professional , and respectful of my property. I would definitely use them again and would recommend to others."
"Our entire experience from the salesman (Tom) to the installation was wonderful. Ivan and his installer group of 4 did a fantastic job. We were a little concerned because of some of the reveiws we read but after duscussing this with the sales rep (Tom) we decided to give Empire Today our business. We would highly recommend Empire Today when considering flooring and carpeting."
"I am very happy with the end result. There were however a couple of things that I was not happy with. My salesperson told me there would be an additional charge for about a 4ft by 2 ft section of the floor where I removed a cold air return. On installation day, the installation supervisor showed up and immediately said that luan would be required for the whole area which was an additional $1700.00. I feel that this bordered on deception, as one of the rooms had only an area rug so much of the floor was visible. A $1700.00 miss on a $5800.00 job is a big and costly error that I had to pay for out of pocket and not on 12 month credit. The carpet installation was held up because their paperwork showed I had a $700.00 COD and it took more than a hour of down time until issue was resolved. The LVP installation took 2 days because the wrong color of quarter round was loaded. Very disappointed in the business transaction. I am very pleased with the outcome, both sets of installers were efficient, skilled and respectful. I wasnโt happy with one of the transitions and it was changed to my satisfaction by some on the fly engineering."
