Reviews of Rodef Shalom Biblical Botanical Garden
"Botanical garden wasn’t open but the gift shop and the volunteers there were wonderful. We’ll be back in March when the garden moves from the greenhouse back outside!"
"A small, very pretty garden. They have a short tour led by a docent. It is clearly a labor of love and worth checking out if you are in the area."
"Lovely garden, well worth the time to visit. Very peaceful and informative."
"An absolutely beautiful outdoor botanical garden with plenty of information and great customer service. We were given a full tour and complementary water on a hot a day. Will be back again soon, you won’t regret your visit here!"
"A Labor of Love - a beautiful project to bring all the Plants mentioned in the Bible into one Garden at Rodef Shalom Synagogue. Some of the Plants are a bit too tender for Pittsburgh's climate, so they are taken to a Greenhouse for Winter. One doesn't have to be interested in historical botany to enjoy this delightful Oasis, complete with Waterfall and Ponds, secluded behind Walls with busy Fifth Avenue traffic just outside. Open only during Summer, but free to the public."
