"The perfect spot to enhance a holiday outing! Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by the owner. The dining room was full so he directed us to the outdoor area. I was instantly reminded of our time in Aspen. The outdoor atmosphere, with a fire pit, stunning stone fireplace and several heaters made for a comfortable evening on a December night. Bar Noel did not disappoint."

"Really cool space but the service was quite poor. Had two guys working the outside bar. You could tell they were overwhelmed and also weren’t bartenders by trade. Very slow. Also, asked them to put the Steelers game on when it was halftime. By the time Larry and Marv figured it out, there was 1:35 left in the 4th quarter."

"I really want to give this place 5 stars because I think there's so much potential, but I just can't. The idea is great and something this town wants (clearly, because it was packed from opening at 6pm), but the supply wasn't ready for the demand. Our group of six had a table outside, which is a lovely space, but we waited in line at the bar for 30 minutes for a couple beers and a batch cocktail (no table service outside). Waiting in line with a friend was fine, but I can't imagine being there on a date with one person saving the table and another waiting at the bar. There were two folks running the outside bar but they could have easily kept four busy. I'm not sure what will become of Bar Noel long term since it's a holiday popup, but if the space continues to run service after the holidays (which I hope they do because, again, it's a great space), they'll have to figure out service."
