"Stopped in 6/11/2024 to sell an Apple Watch. I had Googled where to sell it before I left home and this was a result. My wife had called ahead to confirm that and was given a yes. We arrived and I went inside and was very promptly greeted by Alayna. She was very warm and friendly. I explained my wife had just called about selling an Apple Watch. Alayna smiled and was ready to go. She navigated everything up until the cashing out part. The system was not letting her scan a code. She made several calls to other stores for help. She was determined to get this done. Unfortunately, the system just couldn't do the trade. Alayna was very apologetic and I assured her that it wasn't her fault. She went way above and beyond for what she had to. I ended up going to another store about a mile away to do the trade. Alayna had even given me the directions to that store because I'm not from Boardman. Next level service. I hope she gets a huge raise for this kind of service."

"This place is great in the fa t that they honor their warranties. But some of the gamestops have people working at them who are somewhat rude. In this particular location, the people were nice. But at some locations, the people working there are rude. I bought the newest elite controller from 3 different gameatops and had to return it. I really wanted an elite controller, but 4 of them in a row had issues. To the point that I gave up on asking for another one and just got my money back. This is probably xbox's fault. But still for what they cost they should work."

"Not a great experience. My boyfriend and I were each purchasing separate items. The employee said it would be "easier for him" if they were rang up together and we split the payment at checkout. He gave my boyfriend his total, card was swiped. Then he says oops you were charged the whole amount, can we just leave It? No, we asked to be separate from the beginning. It took forever to redo the transaction and we're still not sure if his card was charged for the total plus the second transaction. A second employee in the store sat on a stool the whole time and didn't talk to any or the 5-6 customers in the store, or assist anyone at all."

"I do not remember his name but a store associate waited a few minutes then asked if we needed any help or had questions. We had a few and he was able to answer all of them. Great service."

"Went here to get some games and was incredibly surprised by the attentivness of the employees. Usually when we go to a game store were ignored and left to our own devices. They were super helpful and we ended up signing up for a pro plan for the great deals. Also the stores layout is simple and effective."
