"I brought my 2001 silverado 2500 to them with the 8.1 allison transmission combination. The transmission had a clunck and chirping noise and it also would flare or slam in the 2 to 1 down shift. They had the truck roughly 2 weeks and called and said it was done. I went down there and Nick showed me my torque converter they this was my problem. I paid him 1600 and got in my truck and left. I started driving my truck and it did the exact same thing before it was fixed. I brought it back to him 10 minutes later and let him listen to the noise it was making. He offered to return my money but i said no just get it fixed. He since then has had my truck 3 other times replacing various parts trying to find what was wrong with my transmission. Every time my transmission is the same. After the 4th time nick refused to work on my transmission anymore or refund the 1600. I believe he did want to fix it at first but when he couldn't find the problem and basically said oh well. I took it to a reputable transmission shop not a guy doing doing work in his back yard. He just threw parts at it hoping it would fix the problem. Now its still broken and im out 1600. Not to mention everytime i would have to wait weeks for him to look at him again because he was busy. I already paid you, my truck should have been fixed before new customers. When he refused to look at it again or refund my money. I told him to just put the old parts back in because the transmission has not improved at all. Which he refused to do. I currently have a pending case with the BBB and im filing a claim in small claims court. Just beware when work is done. Drive the car ir truck for a few days to make sure its right before you pay him."
