"They gave me the runaround for about a month to finally doing a site visit. I had to call them to find out what they decided which they decided not to provide concrete blocks to me 3’x3’x6’ (qty 19). They said their truck wasn’t able to get to the location even though I’ve had concrete trucks, pump trucks, a D6 dozer and a truck that sets concrete septic tanks. I also asked when they was going to notify me about their decision and they didn’t have an answer."
"To start I will say that I have spent a lot of money with this company having built two houses and used them for all the concrete and brick. This time I ordered 13 yds of concrete with fiber and a 5 slump. We had been trying to pour a patio for weeks and finally got a time. We had to keep on schedule as rain was expected later in the evening. The first truck to show up was LESS than pleased to be there. He began to pour and we quickly noticed that this clearly was way higher than a 5 slump. The concrete came out like water and NO Fiber. While we were trying to figure it out (racing against rain) I get a call from the office asking me to hurry and pour because the driver had somewhere else to be. (We had just started). The driver didn’t even have decency to speak with me. Just sat in the truck mad. Which leads me to wonder WHY they would send a truck out and then ask the customer to hurry the job. They should’ve sent someone else. The second truck came and the concrete was completely different. It was at a 5 which is what we ordered. It took hours to wait for this concrete to set up enough to where we could float and finish and by that time it started to rain. So now I have a patio that is likely to deteriorate over time. When I spoke with CMC and advised them of the mistakes made on the order and how we were treated with the first truck with the concrete being way to wet I was told “well we can’t control what the driver does with the concrete when he leaves here”!!!!!! Meaning the concrete left their facility at the slump I wanted but by time it got to my house the driver had added so much water it was like soup. There was no apology just simply stated “well we didn’t charge you for the fiber” and “take pictures for us next time. -yes sir let me stop my job that you’re asking to rush to take pictures for y’all - no you didn’t charge for the fiber but that doesn’t help with the fact I have a 30x24’ patio with no fiber. I am frustrated with them putting me in a hard spot. I am certain if I was a large company this would NOT HAVE BEEN AN ISSUE. The only thing offered was them making a note on my account of the issues we had and if there were problems in the future they would TRY to help out."
"Absolutely love this place. Prices are great as well as the people. I have gotten alot of rock and sand from them. Very satisfied!!"
"Good, down to earth people. I'd recommend them for any concrete needs"
"Great place and friendly helpful staff. Just make sure you don't have to return anything. I got extra retaining wall blocks and when I took it back got hit with a 30% restocking fee! Ouch!"
