"Wanted to love AB Martin and I did until I placed a $4,300 lumber order. It was delivered with a lot of scrap, unusable lumber. I tried to return 28 of the worst pieces for replacement. The rude person I spoke with said “you can’t return it, we can’t pick through it for you and we can’t return it” Sorry, your customers shouldn’t have to accept your scrap. Eventually, somebody approved the return and the rude guy told me “next time go to Home Depot. We don’t need your business.” I went to AB Martin to support a local lumber yard and paid a premium thinking I’d get better quality. Thanks to this one person I’ll never step foot in that store again. Pictures don’t fully convey how bad this split, checked, gouged AND moldy lumber really was. 1/2 star is more appropriate."
