"I haven’t even tried their famous chocolate cake BUT after getting home i knew i had to leave a review just because of how incredible their customer service was. On their website it clearly states that they need 48 hours notice for the chocolate cakes from the bear my mom and i’s favorite show, but with less than a 24 hour notice they so kindly were able to accommodate for me. I’m so excited to surprise my mom with this cake! Even during the pick up process it was extremely crowded but the staff was so kind and attentive!"

"Food tastes great but, it is overpriced in my opinion. We got the sausage sandwich, BLT, 2 hashbrowns and 2 lattes for $49. It included a “delivery fee” even though we dined in and also a “service fee,” why isn’t the service of preparing the food not included in the main price?"

"This place was so good that I'm mad at myself for waiting this long to try it. The breakfast sandwich was exactly what you hope for when you think of runny eggs, flakey croissants, joy. The hash brown? Listen. Listen to me. Get it and savor each salty, delicately crispy bite like it's gonna be your last. It's that good. I have no photos of the cookies because I mainlined those later at home like they were actual drugs, but bro. The chocolate crinkle cookie was like when you're a kid and make box brownies with your mom and get the perfect piece after all your hard work. A little chewy, a little crispy, a little soft, and perfect chocolatey sweetness, but in cookie form. They obviously use salted butter(as. it. should. be.), and I have no notes. Just go already. Why are you still reading this?"

"I really, really want to like this place, but the service and wait time for food is abysmal. On my most recent visit, the line to order was out the door and then after ordering, we had to wait maybe 10 minutes for a table and had to bus/clean the table myself. From arriving, to ordering, and getting food was about 45 minutes. As for the food, the bacon, egg and cheese is very good but the sausage, egg and cheese is too greasy. The chocolate chip cookie only had a few chocolate chips in it. And the coffee is quite strong but very bitter. It's clear that there's huge demand in this part of Avondale (west of the expressway) for solid breakfast food but Loaf Lounge is majorly over-hyped and overpriced for what you get. I'd only recommend going during off-peak times during the week."

"This restaurant has a very cozy vibe. Keep in mind it's a smaller restaurant that has a good crowd, so finding a place to sit can be hard during rush hour. The workers are all incredibly kind. I would highly recommend getting their breakfast sandwich, it is so so so amazing. And of course nothing says "breakfast" quite like a slice of chocolate cake from The Bear."
