Reviews of CSL Plasma
"Amazing workers! i was scared of needles but every person that works there was amazing. It was clean and professional. I wish I started donating sooner."
"If you wanna donate to help people you better have the patience of a Saint and be able to tolerate a tense environment because staff are miserable with each other always complaining every single time I'm there it's pathetic! And if you wanna get paid you looking at 30 to 40 bucks while an employee get guaranteed 75 every time they donate! Crooked system, terrible business practices! They train their phlebotomists on the job, so it's no wonder they poke so poorly and people always bruising, passing out, etc because the machines too fast or something."
"The front desk girl was nice. But this place is wildly incompetent. There's an 80% chance you will waste your time coming to CSL plasma and a 20% chance you will get paid . It's not worth the head ache. I just wasted 2 hours of my time to be told I couldn't donate because I had my last name legally changed. I bought a house after the name change , I got a new license after the name change, I ordered a new social after the name change and I got married after the name change . But ... I can't donate plasma at the bottom of the barrel donation centers ? I will never go to another CSL, their are much better places to go to . This place caters to a certain demographic. If you do drugs, your homeless if your hygiene is questionable. You will do great going to a CSL."
"Very professional friendly staff. Helpful with getting through the 1st time process."
"Never have enough staff, if you come here expect to be here two or three hours. Plus half the machines are. Super slow. Best advice go somewhere else. Update: 11/28/23 They got new machines which is good, but staff is rude just stand around talking while people just sit on machines, wait times are crazy long expect to be here half the day most days, I got a deferral for asking to be taken off the machine early due to muscle cramping, The staff on duty responded " I wasn't going to ruin her Numbers" and started arguing with me. They have consistently lowered the amount per donation since I started. I have donated over twenty times, when I reported this behavior to management nothing was done and I received a thirty day deferral . Still have nothing good to say about this place. Update 1/19/24. The new machines make things quicker, although they are still short staffed, the staff seems more attentive and polite. I like that they seem to have made changes to improve the experience. This could change, but I like when people make the effort, so I'm raising my review to three stars. Keep up the improvement. Edit 5/16/24 there was a issue today with high return pressure, it was becoming painful, I asked to be taken off, I was threatened with a 56 day deferral if I did not continue the donation even though it's voluntary. The machine I was on continued to malfunction while I was on it and had to be restarted to continue the donation. I was left with no flo for at least twenty minutes. Even though I agreed to continue the process, the manager on duty lied and gave me the deferral anyway, when I asked for the corporate phone number he gave me the wrong number. Very unprofessional to lie on the people that donate. I feel like I was bullied into continuing my donation even though the machine malfunctioned and it was becoming painful. And even though I continued they lied and gave me deferral anyway. Better of going to a different company."
