"Long wait but not that bad overall HOWEVER I did have 1 visit for abdominal pain (turned out a cyst ruptured in my kidney I found out later from a different hospital) they took 7 valves of blood to run a bunch of test after a very long wait (6hrs just for them blood test) they told me all the test came back clear. Good news right at this point the pain was more or less gone I get dressed and see on the counter 4 of the 7 valves of blood they took were sitting right there forgotten so how did *all* the test come back clear?? Where they someone else's test results? Did they just not run all the test the doctor ordered? So many questions. Next day I went to a different e.r the pain at that point was maybe a 2 minor discomfort but I really wanted to know what the heck happened my pain level was at a 100 on a 1 to 10 scale at 1st had me on the floor crying and yelling. The 2nd e.r listened to everything was nice ran some test and he told me what happened in and out in 3hrs with answers vs a 10hr day with no answers at death-valley I only go back cause options are limited and I would never go there with another mystery medical issue broken bones cuts only"

"One star for being able to write, I have had the worst experience of my life in a health center. I arrived with my son at 3:00 pm in the emergency area with a swollen cheek caused by a gland. The first people who treated me did an excellent job, but once they admitted us the nightmare began, we spent 5 hours in a room without that no one cared or a Dr. simply showed up to check my son, we asked for water three (03) times for my son and no one cared, like they said if he is going to die of thirst he should die at once, reason why which I became outraged and went to the nurse's station to see what was happening and the only people who paid attention to me were the ones who received me at the beginning. The rest of the staff didn't even care. In the end, a doctor didn't even check him out, nor did they give me a satisfactory diagnosis, nor did they care if the child felt good or bad, they just gave me recommendations and go home, it's sad that anyone there dies from poor care. Please avoid going to this Hospital and even more so with your children."

"I would give ZERO stars if I could!! Took my son here early yesterday morning who has a history of abdominal migraines, which is on record with the VA Hospital. We TOLD them he needed a migraine cocktail with an antispasmodic but were ignored and argued with about it. They released him even though he was still in excruciating pain and severely vomiting. We brought him to the VA hospital in Pittsburgh today because of this, and THEY gave him another migraine cocktail WITH the antispasmodic, which INSTANTLY relieved his severe pain and vomiting. Unfortunately, now he has high calcium due to being severely dehydrated and will be hospitalized at the VA Hospital overnight. Thanks for nothing Mon Valley!!! THIS is why we normally go to Washington or Jefferson Hospital. We will continue to do so to avoid hospitalization and severe pain due to negligence from this HORRIBLE hospital, even though we live just over 5 minutes away from it! If you love your loved ones, avoid this hospital at ALL costs!"

"Cant recommend ....It has its nickname with the locals for a reason,, "death valley". my mom died here 2022 from basic neglect and complete lack of communication between groups.....read the reviews...I didnt...this is, unfortunately hindsight."
