"If you are looking for a gynecologist/OBGYN I highly recommend looking elsewhere. I felt it necessary to include on this website the level of disrespect and overall disinterest this place had for their patients. Every encounter I’ve had with a nurse or staff member has been terrible, from not answering calls about test results concerning my health, to overcharging my insurance. Another review described this office as prioritizing profit over care/comfort and I couldn’t agree more. Loved my actual doctor, Dr. Zochowski, but unfortunately she was out of office for most of COVID. Also, I would like to add I’m an early twenties patient, and would honestly never feel compelled to write a bad review unless I truly felt this way."
"It’s a struggle to schedule appointments here! They need either physical insurance cards or by fax, can’t do email apparently! They refuse to set up appointments at the reception saying only the nurses can do it. The nurses either don’t respond or don’t call back, they make it extremely difficult to set up an iud appointment, almost as if they’re against it! While the nurses and staff are terrible, the doctors here are actually really nice. I’ve almost lost my patience with the staff though."
"I have been going to these women for over 10 years, and I have only had wonderful experiences. They guide you through everything, educate you realistically and provide you with as many resources as they can! They're very accommodating, kind, and well-educated women that I am happy to give my loyalty to. I especially love Dr Atwood and all of her nurses because they're not there to cuddle you, they're straightforward and still gentle at the same time! You don't find a whole lot of doctors who can find that balance and stick to it. I highly recommend Dr Atwood to all of my female friends and to anyone looking for a genuine, female-based practice."
"Lori the billing manager is very rude and impersonal. She does not know how to work with people. We came to a payment agreement on a Friday and she stated that she didn’t remember saying that on a Monday. My trust was broken with the company and I no longer trust them to have my best interest."
"My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Atwood for over a year and while she is an amazing doctor, I am extremely disappointed in this practice. We had an outstanding bill of $4.65 that I normally pay at her next appointment. We were told that because the bill was over 6 months my daughter’s appointment was canceled and the total due was now $44.65 (reinstatement fee). Had I known a $5 bill would increase to nearly 10 times the original amount I would have called and paid over the phone. When I asked to speak with the billing manager, Lori refused my call. She would only speak through the front desk receptionist. This office is obviously more concerned with profit vs patient care."
