"Bland! The chicken has no flavor. The breading lacks seasoning. Even with the Cane’s sauce it wasn’t very flavorful. The fries are basic frozen crinkle cut fries. I will say the chicken was moist and cooked to perfection and the Texas toast is really good. The dining room had many dirty tables. For some reason, they asked us if it was for here or to go but still gave us to go containers when I said it was for here. It certainly was not worth the hype and I’m glad I waited to try this place instead of sitting in the hour long line when they first opened. I won’t go back. I prefer seasoning on my chicken and would rather go to Popeye’s or KFC for this type of meal."
"We wanted to try Raising Canes as we have seen them and not had it. Came in to give it a try and have some noteworthy thoughts. Environment is neat, music was good and love the disco balls. Neither of us thought the sauce was good, the only good sauce was the always tasty Heinz Ketchup. The flavor or the breading and chicken just wasn’t good, doesn’t sit right with the stomach and I couldn’t finish mine. Everything is kind of plain, my girlfriend even salted her tenders and she never does that elsewhere. We spent $28 for two of us to eat I think I’d rather go to a sit down restaurant and have something I enjoy more. The lady at the counter was extremely nice however the guy rinsing the drain for the soda machine wasn’t as he cut us off and shoved his way in front of us while at the soda machine. My biggest complaint as you’ll see in my photo is if they give food in to go boxes sometimes as they did others and us. You can’t fit the trash in the trash cans. I am not sure if we would come back."
"I don’t understand the backlash this place gets? This was our FIRST time, ever. Went at 9:30pm on a Saturday night. Not busy, a few cars in front of us, but we waited no longer than 5 minutes. Food was piping hot, crispy, fresh, and the coleslaw was nice and chilled, flavorful, and creamy. The sauce is meh, but I think that is just the recipe itself, not the restaurant. Overall I give a 4.5."
"I have heard about this chain for years and we finally got one in our area this year so I had to try it. It was just ok. Nothing to brag about. Restaurant was clean and food seem to be good quality however it was just a little above average in my opinion. I think Chicken Guy is better mainly because they offer so many different sauces. I will say that Cane's lemonade was very good. I would eat here again its just not all the hype."
"The chicken fingers are super fresh and all white meat. The chicken breading doesn't have a lot of flavor, but that's what the sauce is for, and it's delicious. Fries and garlic bread are delicious as well. I like coleslaw but theirs is just ok in my book. They only have a few menu items here, so if you don't want chicken strips, then you should go somewhere else. They have chicken strips with only one sauce (their own sauce), a chicken sandwich, coleslaw, fries and garlic bread.....that's the whole menu. It's not a lot of choices, but what they do make is very tasty."
