Reviews of CSL Plasma
"I had took a break from coming here for a while cause staff had a nasty attitude bad customer service but a couple days ago i decided to go and donate i was treated and welcomed soo good by a new staff member she greeted me soo well and kept me updated and she was like that with all the people that was over the the front where i was I forgot her whole name she told me but i know its yonna literally all the people was bragging on how polite and respectful she was wasnt able to donate the nurse was till terrible"
"One week ago and I had a bad stick and developed a small hematoma and was deferred until I saw medical. Couldnt get my blood back and had to wait 5 days for the bruising to clear. I came back and the Latino supervisor woman with the blondish money tail had hooked up my machine,I got stuck by Christian this time and he sticks very well. I got a minute into my donation and the machine started making a grinding noise like a brick was in it. The supervisor woman set up my machine wrong so again I couldn't get my blood back and was deferred 60 days. It's like they punish you when they (staff) mess up. Also why does staff stay crowded in 1 bay? You have 5 staff members in 1 bay sticking and setting up machines. 1 person specifically needs to go around setting up machines another few going around sticking and another few doing takedowns. I know y'all are understaffed but donors are tired of waiting 3 hours just to get hooked up. It's like y'all look at us like well they need the $ so they can wait as long as we want them to. Some of us work nobody wants to get off of work and wait 3 hours to donate and this is EVERY TIME I GO. Also it's like the whole time I'm on the machine there are tons of staff doing takedowns but when I finish there is nobody in sight doing takedowns and on weekends I have to ride the bus which only runs every hour so say the bus runs at 1:20 pm here I am it's 1:07 the staff see I'm done but keep walking past me to go hook up a machine. The same Latino supervisor unhooked me that day and I got the gauze to put on my arm after she removed the needle but I didn't let her wrap my arm because I had to go she set up a whole machine before she took me down and deferred me because I wouldn't let her wrap my arm. It's simple y'all need to learn to respect people's time. The vitals area isn't any better the people doing vitals always walk off and start talking even though the line for vitals is full. Y'all have 6 booths for vitals with 1 person working and that person usually walks off and has a conversation after every person they screen.A lot of donors wait times are so long because staff are too busy talking or waiting for someone else to do their job. Nobody shows initiative. Staff stay too busy talking about personal issues stuff they can talk about before or after work or on break. Whoever manages this office needs to be fired and someone new brought in to make people do their jobs. Also y'all need to start spraying and wiping those chairs and arm rests because a few times I went I saw dried blood on the chair or arm rests. Wth is going on with this center? I really feel as soon as you do your questionnaire a timer should start on your donor profile and if from the time you screen in to the time you get stuck is over 2 hours we should get our scheduled payment plus an extra $20. To sum it up y'all need to have a staff meeting,if you ain't on break there is no walking off and holding conversations you need to be in your work area doing your job. I bet with that and a timer for donors wait times where they get paid more if their wait is too long I bet y'all will open up all the bays then and hire more help. And when staff mess up they need to be sanctioned. Now I have to wait until October 7th because SHE hooked up my machine wrong it has nothing to do with loss of RBCs that was a staff members fault, not mine,a SUPERVISOR at that. Y'all need to start doing confirmations again because even supervisors can't do their jobs right. How is that my fault?all I did was come in,waited 3 hours, got stuck, was on my machine for literally 1 minute and the bowl wasn't secured properly. I really want to know how that warrants me being deferred 60 days."
"CSL in Greensboro is the absolute worst. I went here today to donate and one of their employees accidentally deferred me for the day even though everything was fine with my vitals and my protein. CSL needs to do better because due to their employee’s negligence, I am not able to donate and they get paid to make mistakes which I’ve heard they do quite a bit. Very disappointing and do not recommend your services AT ALL!!!"
"This is the worst CSL I have been to. I’m an over the road truck driver the staff here is very rude and unprofessional. The phlebotomy staff are the slowest I’ve ever seen. There was some confusion and miscommunication at the front desk and Eden said there’re just in training. There should be a staff meeting and everyone should be on the same page. Hopefully in the future there are major changes and improvements."
"I've been to a few different donation centers, this one has the longest wait time by far. Expect to be in there 2 hours at least. Those 2 hours will bring you back to memories of waiting in line in the middle school cafeteria. Everyone else in line is so loud, like they're trying to talk over one another. There will be a few having a phone conversation that they want to make sure everyone else in the building can hear. Others will be watching videos or listening to music with the volume at max. It's very frustrating. None of the staff seem to care, or ever do anything about it. You would think that a medical facility would be a more professional setting. I don't understand why the staff would allow this, everyone already has to wait in this ridiculously long line, and on top of that they are subject to hearing of whatever noises all the other folks want to make."
