"This has got to be the worse ran prison there is. Disorganized and have people working that have metal rods and pins in their backs ! The lack of cleaning supplies so that the prisoners can clean themselves are non-existent unsanitary and a joke ! I know these people have done wrong but dam they are people and need to be treated like people and as far as having to fill out a paper for for everything that is wrong with you on several papers wouldn’t it make more sense to see a dr or nurse once instead of multiple times. Dam the state needs to overhaul these prisons !"
"If they didn't get themselves in there the family wouldn't have to go through this. And if they're still getting in trouble in there then they have a big attitude problem. Follow the rules, laws, stay out of trouble, respect authority and you won't go to the hole. I feel sorry for none of them."
"Staff is very rude to visitors and they don’t explain any rules or guidelines. They expect you to know the prison system and where to go. Never been treated so rudely in my life. Terrible place to visit an inmate. Very disappointed in staff at prison. Seem to not care about anyone. Also I couldn’t switch visitors during “count” which took 40 minutes away from my mom. Wish someone would have mentioned that when we went in. Just horrible experience."
"I've had excellent experiences with visiting my brother at your facility. All of the employees are , nice, helpful, respectful, and caring. What I don't like is the fact that he's in minimum security, bldg # 11 , and he's not allowed to use anything to rehab him . For instance: the library, computers, work out room, any classes available and from what he & others have told me the food is deplorable. Some inmates that work in the kitchen say they actually use old, rotten food added to good stuff and the type of meat is ridiculous. But what bothers me the most is they can't even go to church. Yes they have a service in a office in their bldg., but it's not really a service . This is a very important part of some people's lives. I figured out a way to get around this though. I'm going to supply them with an easy to read & understand Bible, and they're going to have their on Bible study class. Amazing how many guys asked if they could be a part of it. For the most part though, your facility seems to be VERY clean, super employees, e accommodating to inmates & visitors. This is a good experience for him, our Dad abused him mentally & physically since he was 7 and my Mom & us 5 sisters spoiled & protected him his whole life . I truly believe he's understanding & figuring what life's about and learning how to make good decisions as opposed to all the stupid and bad ones he's made . Thank you for your time, Debbie"
