Reviews of Miami Valley Hospital Emergency and Level I Trauma Center
"If you want to be mistreated, be talked at with no compassion because most these nurses are only here to do a job, over drugged, eat the worst food that even an animal outside wouldn’t eat. And be forced to do things that only you know that only you know that your body can’t handle…. If you have loved ones here please check on em morning, noon, and night, cause they might not be in get hands"
"WORST HOSPITAL I'VE EVER PERSONALLY SEEN. AN HOUR AND A HALF AGO AT 8AM MY DAD WAS ALLOWED TO EAT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOUR DAYS AND IT IS 935 AND THEY STILL HAVENT GOTTEN HIM FOOD! Last night after having SURGERY and not EATING for THREE DAYS, it took them THIRTY minutes to even RESPOND to his bed call, and TWO HOURS to get him ONE COFFEE!!! They only got it for him because I WAS THERE TO WITNESS EVERYTHING AND MAKE THEM! The "nurses" in the after-operations bed areas were YELLING up and down the hallways to each other about weekend plans - while human beings are trying to recouperate from being sliced and diced open. While waiting TWO HOURS for COFFEE, we witnessed a group of "nurses" chit-chatting around the front desk! My dad quit breathing over and over and over and over and I HAD TO WAKE HIM UP TO BREATHE FOR THREE HOURS!!!! I have to specifically commend Aisha on her Genuine care for her patients. She was the ONLY one who did what she said she would do - AND did it in a very timely manner. THANK YOU, AISHA. May you be happy and taken care of always. DO NOT EVER COME TO THIS WRETCHED, FORSAKEN PLACE IF YOU VALUE YOUR OR YOUR LOVED ONE'S LIFE. THIS PLACE ACTUALLY BELIEVES IT IS BETTER TO TAKE CARE OF A WATERFALL ON THEIR PATHETIC PREMISES THAN TO ACTUALLY TAKE CAREEEEE OF PEOPLE!!!!!!!"
"Three weeks ago, my mom had a stroke. She was taken to Good Sam's North and then care flown(care flight was beyond awesome- great team) to the main campus. ER was great at both North & Main Campus; every single person(no matter title/functioning teammember) were kind, compassionate and provided excellent care for her...and for us!! She was then moved to the 11th floor, neuroscience icu. She had great staff- EVERYONE was wonderful. She came home after 3 days. Aftercare has been fantastic also. Great job to all of the teams that saved our daughter, sister, wife, mom, and grandma....she means the world to us!! Thank You; without you, we wouldn't have her♡♡♡"
"Took my 83 year old mother to ER at the request of urgent care because she had been vomiting blood for over 24 hours. Never got triaged after 3 1/2 hours terrible terrible service. Will never go back"
"Other than the 4th floor staff and the nurse who took my grandpa when he first arrived to the emergency unit, the hospital was horrible. Impossible to navigate, horrible food, and absolutely no cleanliness or hygiene. They have no food for diabetics in the emergency unit and the food overall is either inedible or raw. Also first ever hospital we’ve ever paid parking for. Massive shoutout to Elizabeth though, she acted fast and with true care when needed. Other than the few positives, most of the staff look at people with disdain and the environment is far from welcoming. Wouldn’t recommend any of the Dayton area hospital to he completely honest. DO NOT GO HERE IT IS FOUL."
