"I was a first time donor and I had the worst experience of my life. When you go make sure to eat before and be very hydrated. I never donated blood before and was unaware of the procedures to follow before donated. I started feeling symptoms like vomiting and excessive heat flashes throughout my body. I asked the lady could I stop pumping and passed out. She said, “ no you’re almost done”. It was like a movie of me constantly waking up and passing out. I saw people running towards me and it felt someone ripped the needle out of my arm which caused permanent scaring. I am now fine, but when talking with paramedics they said, “ people pass out here all the time.” There many poster that say whenever you are ready to stop you can stop and they didn’t stop. I did get my money, but is the money really worth your health? It’s not for everybody. This was just my personal experience and they will never see me there ever again in my natural born life."

"I came here to donate today. New donor to this location, but donated many times before. I waited in line like everyone else only to come to my discovery that I didn’t pop up on the system because I didn’t sign in. Now where was I supposed to sign in? When I walked in no one said nothing… how was I supposed to know?. When people walked in they just got in line. There were other new donors but they got to donate while I was sent out the door."

"I haven't been here in a long while and I called awhile back to inquire about new do or fees and was told id have to come in which makes no sense.. why would I travel via 2 forms of septa then walk 15 min to find out I might only receive say $50 per donation knowing I'd have to stand in line for hours before donating? Can anyone please inform me of the new donor fees please and thank you. Also after reading the reviews and the owner response I'm wondering why nothing has changed? I've been to 3 different company plasma sites and none of them operate as slow as this company. You have if I recall 5 if not 6 booths for the protein checks and I e only ever seen 2 open yet there's a line. You have im guessing at least 30 plus beds. Why would you allow folks who are trying to do good and also help their pockets wait in , no less stand in a line for hours? As I stated earlier all other companies have chairs, a timely flow, and they call you by name to a bed. The entire process is about an hour from start to finish. Why has this not been corrected all this time? They dropped the donor fees twice in the past 6 months at the company I currently go to so I'm trying to see what the difference is at several companies because it's got to be worth my time, effort and make sense in work life balance. If the reward isn't worth the effort I do believe donations will drop off across the board. Anyway I'm going to look into wether there's a national plasma contact to inquire and also report on the operations part of plasma centers."

"Hi i just came back from donating at the yeadon location and i am a new donor but i have been other plasma places, my experience with this place is very mild they are still very slow with the process compared to others!!! I am writing a review today because something bother me while i was there, as another employee was taking me off my machine another employee came and took her cart with the things she needed in the middle of her assisting me all because another patient didnt want to wait i didnt like it very unprofessional she could have waited one min or two and she would been done wtih me and was able to take the cart. I really thought this was rude i should have gotten the employee name. Need better process and better employee training with your coworkers.."
