"Made a consultation appointment to discuss a custom wedding dress and met with Joan at her shop. The location is old, cluttered, dusty and disorganized. She had a pile of dress orders in manila envelops stacked up as her only form of customer order organization. She took minimal notes of what I wanted. The whole process was very unclear and downright sketchy. There was NO contract despite me asking for one multiple times outlining how much the dress would cost and agreed upon completion date, nor was there a firm price! She threw out a random deposit number of $600 but wouldn't give me a firm ending price, said it'd "depend?" She said she would begin looking for fabric samples for my dress and give me a call when they were in to look at them. I called multiple weeks later and her response was "I'll give you a call in the next month" I STILL HAVE NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HER! DON'T GO HERE. This is so sketchy to not call someone and waste their time. She seems like a scam. There is a custom dress maker in the polaris mall that gives contracts, a set price and completion date. Would highly recommend them instead. Avoid Joan and her foolery."

"Going to Joan Bridal Couture is like spending time with family! Joan is very passionate about her customers giving sincere attention and making sure they find what they are looking for in such quick timeframe! I’m pregnant in my third trimester and it was very challenging to find a dress that fits me and I’m comfortable in yet stylish and can be worn to a wedding. I tried lots of places in vain till I scheduled an appointment and she was ready for me with lots of options though the one she picked for me was the one I tried one and the one I immediately purchased without trying on others! She has such an insight and gift that you can’t find anywhere! I ended up same day buying the dress, shoes, and hair accessories from one place and that made my shopping stress free and enjoyable. Will absolutely go back for all occasions and absolutely recommend!"

"I am very pleased with this company!! I informed them about the dress I was wanting to purchase (which i was ordering 8 weeks before a wedding) with my measurements. I even asked if I needed extra length. They simply replied with the size and how to dress would measure with flats and heels. Very helpful! Roger was on top of this order constantly updating me after I purchased the dress and even before I made the purchase. They caught my error with the wear date which was EXCEPTIONAL. The dress arrive right on time and fit perfectly. He even called before shipping the dress to see which shipping method I would prefer so I would receive the dress as soon as I needed it. I am so pleased and I definitely will be back! Thank you for allowing me not to stress and working hard to please your customers. You have no idea how much this company means to me since they were the only ones to provide me with the dress right on time. THANK YOU ROGER!!"

"I have ordered from Joan’s before but this is the last time I deal with this company. I ordered several bridesmaids dresses from them months ago. I would call periodically checking status and my order was always missing and could never be found. The dresses ended up being shipped 3 weeks later than I paid for. I was always getting an excuse as to why they hadn’t shipped on time. When they were finally shipped, there were 3 different shipments. But it gets better...how ironic is it that one package got lost???? Now that we are 3 weeks until my wedding receiving the dresses versus the 6 weeks before when we were supposed to receive them, NONE OF THE DRESSES FIT!!!! All 5 dresses are 2-4 sizes too small. I’m furious and will never use Joan’s again nor will i recommend their horrible customer service."

"Came here to get bridesmaid dresses for my girls and absolutely loved the extremely warm welcome from Joan. She was very patient as we made decisions about styles, colors, etc and was very accommodating and helpful if we were struggling with decisions. Loved the whole experience and would recommend going there for any formal wear you may need!"
