Reviews of Erie Extension Canal
"This section of the Erie Canal Extension is located in the Hartstown area of Crawford County Pa.... Back in the 1840’s - 1870’s the Erie Canal played an important role in the growth of Western Pa. The Canal Boats would haul products and material both north and south along the Canal System helping towns grow and people to be transported too... In Greenville, Pa, there is a Canal Museum that tells a lot about the history of the Canal System in these parts.... Additionally, “Visit Pymatuning Lake Pa” Facebook page has great stories about all the history in the Pymatuning Lake Region..."
