"I have not been to this hospital where I didn’t have to wait for hours in the waiting room. Reading previous reviews from years ago I’m not sure why they haven’t done anything to help with this issue. When you have 1.1 stars you’d think you would remedy the situation. I wish I could talk to who’s in charge of the ED and ask them why the ED is such a failure. I understand “being busy” but that is ALWAYS the excuse. Come in during the weekend. Weekday. Middle of the night when there in nobody here. Always the same."
"I took my wife here last night for severe back pain she could not sit it was that bad she had to stand for 330 hrs waiting to be seen it took her screaming in pain for them to take her back after which the experience here was not good plus they have no mri technician after 5 o’clock what kind of emergency is this we had to ask to see a doctor are you kidding me why is this hospital ran so poorly nurse don’t get me start with the unprofessional of them look my mom and my sister are nurses I get the stress but come on wearing we r hero tee shirts and not wanting to help seems a little ironic"
"Took my 3 year old with ear pain. After several hours of waiting not being seen. Was told let them flush his ear which can't been done with tube's in. Then insisted on doing over the counter drops. Which drops I told them over the counter drops or prescription one hurts and make him feel worse. At first i was told he'd be given antibiotics, then was told no and to take to his ent who can't see him till July 10th. Which I also told them. Was sent home with a crying kid in pain. As well as I was crying how could let him leave like he was"
"Gonna keep it short and simple; staff here have no sense of urgency. There are patients who come here, who only have so much time to live, and in so much pain. If you step outside to look how the staff is moving up and down these halls, they’re moving slow as if there’s all the time in the world to take care of these patients. There is no communication or updates given in a timely manner. Was told “Oh the doctor will be here soon, just sometimes they’re busy doing other procedures” and got this response after already waiting 45+ min for a doctor, when there’s a patient in excruciating pain trying to patiently wait. How are you going to work in a hospital, in the emergency department, and not move like there’s an emergency. Find a different profession if you don’t have the urgency to care for the people who come in here. If it was their own family member in the same condition I bet they would be moving 100 times faster to get the care they need. Very disappointing and very sad to witness, would give zero stars if I could."
"I do not understand how James hospital is still open with the poor care they give there patients. The stuff is to busy talking to other co-workers to register people to be seen. They need to fire these people who think it is more important to discuss there personal life then get the patients registered so they can get checked out by a doctor. I have not even made it back to a room and I'm already Perturbed by service . Oh yea not to mention I had to wait 10 minutes for the security guard to come out of his office. One of the nurses had to go into his office to let him know that I was waiting to come thru security. I'll update post after I am seen"
