"Good Evening Google Family. This was my first time donating at this particular location but I have been an American Red Cross donor since 2003. I felt a particular vibe here and I know I will not be going back here ever again to donate. And its not because I could not today. My iron was too low. I just felt uncomfortable here. I read some of the reviews of this place before I submitted my review and I certainly agree with some of them. The place was clean and neat though. They had plenty of snacks and they said I could help myself. I believe they were surprised when I said that I did not wish to donate whole blood. I only wished to donate power red. The lady said not to wait because the need was great. The need is always great, 365 days a year!!!! Have a great night Google Family and don't forget to work out!!!!"
"Dealt with one of the rudest people I’ve ever met (Diane?). Cared more about her next cigarette or leaving for the day than getting a successful donation. Awful experience, will not be going back."
"Terrible experience. Had an appointment today, arrived early and waited 40 minutes before I decided to walk out. The volunteer gre⁰eted me and was nice, also apologized for the long wait. There were about 5 phlebotomists, I was the only person there that was donating. All of the phlebotomists were walking around, laughing and talking very loud and eating. No respect for my time and no professionalism at all. 40 minutes in the waiting area and none of them acknowledged me or even apologized."
"The people have horrible attitudes, and you’ll drive far for them to just turn you down and say you can’t donate. Will definitely not be going back ."
"The Red Cross makes a good amount of money out of what VOLUNTEERS donate. Volunteers - we don't get paid. I am fine with that BUT we deserve a little more respect and not to be taken for granted for our VOLUNTARY donations. I arrived at this facility on time (as few minutes early actually) only to be told my appointment was cancelled. I was told this in a polite fashion but I received no notification of this cancellation beforehand, not until AFTER I had arrived at the facility, via phone message and email. I did send an email of complaint. No one even had the decency to respond. I am only too pleased to help those in need but to be dismissed and taken for granted by the Red Cross like this is just not acceptable."
