"We're visiting from out of state and looked up a spot to eat on the way back to our hotel. This place has fantastic reviews, so we stopped in. Quaint atmosphere, great indoor/outdoor seating options. However, it took 25 minutes for the waitress to get to us in a less than busy time of evening. My husband actually went to the bar to get menus so we'd be ready with our order when someone arrived. There were only 3 tables inside with people, plus the bar, and a few tables outside with customers. We ordered our food and it took another 35 minutes to get it to us. With absolutely no drink refills in between. We never even laid eyes on the waitress in that time. We were literally getting up to leave when she finally rounded the corner with our food. I asked if they were short staffed. She looked at me questioningly and said nothing. I said we had been there an hour and were they short staffed. Her already less than sunny disposition changed to just pure disgust for us. She snapped at me that they were and she walked away. She brought us refills and said nothing to us. Then she never returned. We got our own boxes for the leftovers, then when I went to the bar to get and pay our bill, I figured out why. She was hanging with the people at the bar, laughing it up with them. She looked at me, ignored me, turned back to who she was talking to, who then said to her to take care of me. I paid and left. The only saving grace was the food was really good."
