Ascension St. John Hospital at 23 Mile - Lab

"specifically asked to be tested for a specific sti and they tested me for everything exept that and when me and my father would call and ask for the results because they said to call if the results dont show up on patient portal to call and i have gotten no where they just send you back to the same front desk lady who has no clue how to help with anything involving bloodwork plus when she transfers you to a call with the lab you get no where and have to wait for hours not to mention my symptoms are getting worse and i suspect its in the later stages so i plan on filing a law suit against ascension for if i have irreversible damage caused due to not being helped or tested for the right thing i specifically asked to be tested for"

"I had a Bone Density Test today and had a great experience with the tech that performed the scan. She was so pleasant and did everything she could to assist me with getting the scan done. I have mobility issues and she couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. That means so much to me."

"One star because every time i am here getting fasting blood work the check in process literally takes 30 mins. It should not take that long to check in. The actual blood draw takes 5mins if that. Completely unacceptable. My phelbotomist was amazing"

"The lab department and their staff ROCK! They sit with imagining or another department and I won’t comment on that one associate other than I’d give a 1/5 for personality .. The lab tech juanisha was AMAZING. She was so gentle and drew my blood like she’s been doing it for 30 years. Didn’t even know she stuck me and all of a sudden she was done. Had my 4 and 5 year old with me and she gave them stickers, talked with them, kept them entertained… The lab associate at the front desk was so fast and friendly and courteous. I waited about 30 minutes with 5 people ahead of me. Don’t even have a bruise on my arm (that’s a first!) If management reads this please please praise Juanisha the lab tech and the women who worked the desk on 12/9/23 Thanks so much guys"

"2 Star maybe generous. when I arrival approx 11 am...No one at the desk...just to the left 3 girls were sitting, chatting having a goodtime, the closest to me actually rotated her chair so her back was to me, I was about to leave when someone came in the room and signed me in...From there the process went well..for check in...the Lab Tech very nice but not to experienced...Won't go to Assention again"
