"I have had nothing but positive experiences here except for one thing. Once one of the girls taking vitals was pretty sick. She blew her nose with gloves on and I didn't think about asking her to change them. Sure enough I got pretty sick the next day. My bad, lesson learned!!"
"The staff here is amazing. Even at the end of the day when everyone is tired and wanting to get home...they don't stop making the donor the TOP priority. Special shout out to Anastasia for taking very good care of my wife in which has extreme anxiety over needles."
"This location is busy, so you may experience longer wait times. I'm always freezing, so bring a jacket or blanket to cover yourself while you're donating. The donation area is very cold to keep plasma donations healthy, and it's much more comfortable when you're warmer. There's one medical tech I steer clear from, because she injures me every time she collects my donation. The bruising then disqualifies me from donating in that arm until it's gone. The center appears clean, however I observed that the techs don't change their gloves between donors. One was coughing over my sister, who then caught her cold. Not so Groovy :( Still, donating plasma is imperative to saving lives, and I encourage everyone one to do so. It's worth it all. Groovy :)"
"Some of the employees here act like they would rather be anywhere but here, but most are really cheery and friendly. At the hospital they always have trouble getting my veins, but here, I have only had one time they have ever had to stick me more than once. The ones trained to do the sticking are really good. They could pay a little better for the donations, but otherwise a really good place. And they help a lot of people."
"This place is kinda like a coffee shop, the more you come the more you get to know the staff and who will be a good sticker/the person that puts the needle in. You get paid good money for your time and if you're on the heavier side you get paid more. 10/10 would recommend as it helps with bills and gas money if needed. Joann did my stick today and I didn't feel a thing! It's cold in here so bring a blanket or warm jacket."
