Reviews of Virtua Endocrinology - Voorhees
"Agree with last the reviewer (RS) a week ago! Horrible provider. THey should leave a few openings for when they need to cancel you but they don't. Drs are good but not the administrators at Virtua. They cancelled my appointment in May and could not reschedule me until September. Do yourself a favor and find another provider. Virtua has gone way down hill in recent years!"
"Horrendous despicable treatment at their office. I am a 70-year-old senior treated for head and neck cancer. I was sent there because my doctor suspect a problem with my thyroid. It took six weeks to get an appointment and it’s almost an hour drive. I got there approximately 15 minutes late, but had called ahead to let them know. We left a message because we tried calling four times but no one answered the phone. In our message, we requested a callback. If being a few minutes late was going to be a problem and when we didn’t hear anything back, we raced there as quickly as we could get there. Ultimately, as I said, we were 15 minutes late. While filling out the required paperwork, I was called to the desk to be told that the doctor refused to see me and it would be necessary for me to reschedule! I explained what happened. I reminded them that I had called and left a message and no one had called me back. I explained how far had come and how difficult it was to get there and how long I had waited for the appointment. I the staff to please relate these things to the doctor Because I am really concerned about this health problem on top of the cancer. I was told that I was not 15 minutes late. I was 18 minutes late and 15 minutes is the cut off so there would be no exceptions no matter what my circumstances were. I am not going to reschedule with the doctor because I want to be treated by doctors who care enough about their patients to extend a courtesy treat patient with dignity. I was humiliated in front of an office full of people by a receptionist who spoke to me like I was not worthy of being in their office. All I wanted was to be treated like a human being. Maybe it is because they are part of the Virtua system. Until now, I have been treated by doctors at Penn. Every single one of those doctors at Penn has treated me with kindness and compassion. Maybe my mistake was going outside the Penn system, but I will never see another doctor associated with Virtua as a result of this degrading experience. In the meantime, I have to start from scratch and find another endocrinologist. I am old and weak and so tired. I sure hope whatever is wrong doesn’t kill me in the meantime."
"Staff greeted me immediately and were kind and efficient. Dr. Paul was friendly, attentive, and thorough. Explained things and sought my thoughts on treatment plan. Check out was great too. Left with procedural and follow up appointments. Procedural appointment is 8 weeks out but it isn't emergent. Fabulous comprehensive care. Highly recommend."
"Dr. Davidson took the time to listen to my concerns and explained my options. I never felt rushed. The staff I engaged with was very friendly from the first phone call through the visit itself. I felt I was in good hands!"
"Excellent care! Dr Davidson is the best. She has managed my diabetes for a long time! Always has time to listen and always provides solutions! The staff is excellent too! If you want a very knowledgeable Dr this is the one, you won’t regret it. This office cares about you."
