"This place is a joke, we went and met with the placement specialist first who recommends which doctor you should see. She ended up recommending Dr Carpenter. We walked into his office for the first meeting, he was 10 minutes late asking us back, he barely paid any attention to what we were saying, as well as, staring at his phone or computer throughout the first 15 minutes of our appointment. He was just completely apathetic to us and anything we had to say. I do not recommend this place to anyone it's terrible."

"Disclaimer: I do not write this review to be rude, but in hopes that the business will fix these issues so other clients don’t deal with the same problems. First, they are trying to charge me over $300 for only a 40 minute consultation, even though they are in-network with my insurance AND I have already met my deductible. In the process of trying to work it out but I can’t explain that one. Second, although Ka’hala seemed nice and with good intentions, she was extremely unprofessional. She laughed inappropriately and at inappropriate times, and made me and my partner very uncomfortable. She also spoke poorly of other clients (no names attached, but still). The receptionists are also not helpful at all, maybe just due to lack of training. I would not recommend this place."

"My wife and I really appreciate and recommend the AK Marriage and Family Therapy. The councelors are friendly and easy to talk to. They have helped us a great deal. Especially Duncan and Kyria. The finance department is also very professional and provided a positive experience throughout the payment process of our final balance. Overall we loved our experience with this office and highly recommend them for anyone seeking help with their mental, emotional and relationship health."
