"This Benson Blvd. Branch LOST a $31K check I hand-carried to them, and then they didn't even have the common decency to call me back on the day it was reported to them, by their own NATIONAL headquarters. I've been waiting now for 3 HOURs to hear back from the Benson Blvd. Branch Manager - and not a peep. I guess $31K is just chump change to these people. I'll never deal with this Branch in Anchorage again. Would you trust your hard-earned retirement money with these people? I'll be filing a complaint with the SEC. BTW the National Headquarters of TD Ameritrade is fantastic!"
"I've had an online TD Ameritrade account for years & been extremely satisfied with their online brokerage services. Recently, I transferred 2 accounts into my TD Ameritrade account. Since I wasn't sure how to do it online, I stopped by the local branch office. The office consultants were friendly, courteous & very knowledgeable about the process. They were a big help & ensured everything transferred smoothly."
"I had a scottrade account which i closed years before td ameritrade bought the company. after they bought scottrade they started sending me monthly account statements. I have never had any dealings with td ameritrade. I contacted them and tried to figure out what was going on. they did not seem surprised or interested in getting this figured out. i cannot access the supposed account because i don't know the account number and they want me to give them my social security number to prove who i am and all i really want them to do is delete whatever fake account they have in my name. I am afraid they are doing something illegal or at the very least trying to make it look like they have more business than they do my creating fake accounts."
"I transferred my account to Scottrade because of a web page promise that I would get a $300 credit and free trades for 2 months. I deposited in excess of the requirement. After calling several times asking about my $300 credit I finally got it, but I had to pay for 9 trades I made. They did give me (finely) free trades in the future. Get ready for a wrestling match to get what was promised!"
"Scottrade took my certificate and confirmed the sale after confirming with their operations deparment that it could be done. Four days later I was told when I walked in that the trade had been reversed and they would no longer accept this or any related transaction from me unless my certificates had been reissued. They refused to talk to anyone at the transfer agent to verify that the transactioncs were valid and unrestricted. Scotttrade cost me money by not processing the transactions in a timely basis and in the manner that they had led me to believe they could do."
